Almost half of college students living in the US have experienced food insecurity, which means they don’t always know when or from where they will get their next meal.
WSU is working to combat this issue systemwide by creating resources for food insecurity on all campuses. When a student in need gains access to a food pantry or receive donated RDA credit on their Cougar Cards, these gifts make an impact that lasts far longer than the meal itself. A good meal provides energy and encouragement through a long night of study, creates an opportunity for a family to dine together, and can help students through finals week and graduation.
Because of your generous support, one fewer WSU student could be asking the question, “Where will my next meal come from?”
