WSU Tri-Cities is a leader in STEM based educational programs. Our polytechnic ethos permeates throughout the campus and the Tri-Cities community. Now WSU Tri-Cities is prepared to launch, "Create@Lab." A maker space styled learning laboratory wherein students from all disciplines will work together to turn concepts into reality. Housed in a 2,040 square foot building conveniently located on campus, Create@Lab will allow student entrepreneurs the opportunity and environment to develop an idea in an environment that fosters and promotes creativity, harnesses intellect and pushes boundaries. With your help we can make this happen!
Coupled with Create@Lab is an exciting new Recreation Destination program at WSU Tri-Cities. Student life at WSU Tri-Cities is growing, just as is the student body. Nestled on the banks of the Columbia River, WSU Tri-Cities students have countless outdoor recreational options. Often, the only thing missing is the gear. With your help the WSU Student Life program will purchase and provide for check-out: camping, hiking and kayaking gear, outdoor sporting goods such as flag football, soccer, basketball, Frisbee golf and other sports gear. So, when not in class, studying or in Create@Lab, WSU Tri-City Cougs can enjoy the outdoors without worrying about being able to afford the equipment. Will you please help?
Innovators are those who are investing in the Create@Lab learning laboratory and are ready to help young student entrepreneurs make concepts, realities! This gift will help provide equipment for the Create@Lab laboratory.
Persons who donate to the recreation fund help supply monies to purchase indoor and outdoor recreational gear. Your support will help pay for camping and kayaking gear and equipment as well as for sporting goods such as footballs, soccer balls and volleyballs.
Investors are those who wish to make a substantial donation to the Create@Lab. Investors believe and invest in the entrepreneurial spirit of a maker space!
Supporters give to the recreation fund because they know that student life takes place in the classroom, library, lab and playing field. Teamwork and classwork are not mutually exclusive and a supporter knows that giving to the recreation fund will make an impact on the lives of students.
A Hero gives to WSU Tri-Cities for both programs because they know both are equally important. Will you be a Hero for WSU Tri-Cities and support the Cougs in the lab and in the classroom?
