Group The Community Health Interest Group’s mission is to improve the health of our neighbors in need by providing health screenings free of charge while helping students develop their clinical skills. With recent budget cuts, we are unable to purchase enough supplies needed to reach the level of impact we are hoping for. We need funds to purchase general supplies, educational materials, diabetes screening supplies, rapid cholesterol panels, and vaccines. Student-led & designed CougSat-II is a satellite focused on in-space robotics research from campus to cosmos. Cougs in Space CougSat-II is scaling up to a 36 x 36 x 76 cm satellite size. Within this new system we are working on the design and implementation of a robotic arm payload as well as deployable solar panels. This arm will begin to help us understand the impact and challenges of in space robotics especially as to how it can help with in-space repair. This project is multi disciplinary across majors applying knowledge from classes and building further understandings through collaboration in teamwork. Our teams include; Computing Systems - Satellite Avionics, Real Time Systems, Simulations, & Microcontrollers Elecrtical Systems - PCB Design, PCB Assembly, Systems Integration, & Soldering Structures - CAD Design, Manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping, & Physics Based Engineering

This event allows us to present the interdisciplinary prevention research we’ve been doing, grow our professional skills, and build a sense of community. PSGSO What We Do The Prevention Science Graduate Student Organization (PSGSO) at Washington State University supports the next generation of prevention scientists dedicated to community-driven and culturally responsive work. Our members focus on advancing programs, practices, and policies that promote health and well-being across communities. We create opportunities for students to strengthen their research and presentation skills by participating in conferences, poster sessions, and other professional events where they can share their findings and connect with leaders in the field of prevention science. Our Events In the Spring semester, PSGSO hosts annual poster sessions. This year, due to considerations of cost and accessibility, we will be hosting this research session in a symposium format, with participants giving a brief presentation on their research. Graduate students affiliated with PSGSO and/or WSU will be invited to submit an abstract to the session. The research session provides an opportunity to enrich students’ academic experiences, practice professional presentation and engagement skills, and a social event that bolsters connectedness with each other. Students will be able to showcase their scholarly work and receive feedback from peers, faculty, and the general WSU community. How You Can Help Your support makes our events possible! The purpose of this project is to raise funds for ASWSU Health Sciences and the events they host for student life and the community.
The purpose of this project is to raise funds for ASWSU Health Sciences and the events they host for student life and the community. ASWSU Health Sciences The Associated Students of Washington State University (ASWSUHS) is a student organization representing the interests of all WSU Spokane Health Sciences Students. The colleges on our campus include medicine, pharmacy, speech and hearing sciences, nutrition and exercise physiology, and nursing. ASWSUHS ensures that students' needs are heard both on and off campus. Recent budget deficits have led us to ask the cougar community for help in ensuring that we can still have events for students that promote education, inclusivity, and networking. Some of the events that we would like to highlight include the AWSUHS spring health fair. This is typically held in a community center and brings all colleges together to provide health outreach in the community. We provide services like vaccinations, health education, blood pressure readings, STI screenings, diet and exercise plans, mobility and agility testing, radon testing kits, fentanyl testing strips, and hearing loss tests. All of these are free services (assuming vaccinations are covered with insurance) and ensure that WSU Spokane is represented professionally. It brings awareness to our community that we are a trusted resource that is here for them. Another goal we have is to overcome the burden of professional clothing costs. Oftentimes students struggle to afford business professional items and we would like to ensure that is not a challenge for individuals anymore. We hope to start a clothing closet which would require items such as clothing racks and hangers to get this started and hope to offer donated clothing from WSU personnel and community members. Lastly, it is essential that student voices are heard in Olympia which is why ASWSUHS goes to the capital every year to voice the needs of students on our campus. With funding at risk it is more important now than ever to help politicians relate to students and the struggles that we face. The funding for this annual trip was not allocated to us this year and we hope to raise money so we can represent WSU Spokane at the highest state level for lobbying efforts. While these are just a few of the events that we would like to raise money for, any excess funds we would like to host for student engagement events such as the earth day plant and seed swap which gives students free plants for Earth day and promotes emotional well being and strengthens our community. Sports Pharmacy Network The Sports Pharmacy Network (SPN) at Washington State University is launching its first crowdfunding campaign to advance the field of pharmacy in sports medicine. Our goal is to raise $500 to support educational lectures and social events designed to increase awareness of this emerging specialty. We aim to connect WSU student pharmacists with pharmacists, alumni, and professionals in the sports medicine community to explore how pharmacists optimize the health, safety, and performance of athletes. These events create meaningful opportunities for networking, professional development, and interprofessional collaboration, the foundations of SPN’s mission. Your contribution supports engaging educational experiences such as guest speaker sessions and conference participation to help inspire student pharmacists to create and pursue careers in sports pharmacy. Coding Cougs - WSU Tri-Cities The Coding Cougs club at WSU Tri-Cities is raising funds to send around 17 students to Crimson Code 2025, a 24-hour hackathon hosted at WSU Pullman. This annual event brings together students from across the Pacific Northwest to collaborate, innovate, and build creative tech solutions in a competitive and supportive environment. By attending, students will gain hands on programming experience, team collaboration skills, and networking opportunities with industry professionals and other student developers. For many of our members, Crimson Code is their first real world exposure to software development outside the classroom. Your support will help us cover transportation, lodging, and meals for the trip, making it possible for all interested students to attend regardless of financial barriers. Support the revival of Chemistry Club! Chemistry Club The Chemistry club is an academic club that aims to spread the excitement of chemistry through events, outreach, and demonstrations! We have participated in the last two Kids Science and Engineering Days with interactive and informational chemistry demonstrations. Some of the demos we have done for this event include showing kids how to safely shrink balloons in liquid nitrogen to describe pressure and energy, a coloring activity on coffee filters to teach about chromatography, and mixing household products with red cabbage juice to show pH changes. We also always try to help with American Chemical Society events like the Chemical Olympiad and National Chemistry Week. One of the goals of the club is to support the students at WSU who are interested in chemistry. One way we aim to do this is through planning more professional development events to help undergraduates find research labs to join. Another goal is to host fun events that offer valuable learning opportunities on teaching chemistry to the public and safety procedures for handling chemicals. We hope to develop a couple of events that can be held annually for everyone to look forward to. This is something we have been working on: creating a Halloween demonstration event for club members. The aim is to have some events that are also open to the general public. This will be our third year working to revitalize the club. First, we worked on gathering members and starting to create a strong foundation. Now, we are working on evolving into a long-lasting club. Your support will help to keep the Chemistry Club growing! Chem-E-Car is a multidisciplinary project where students design a shoebox-sized car that runs and stops on a chemical reaction. AIChE The AIChE Chem-E-Car competition is an engineering design challenge that tasks university teams with designing, constructing, and safely operating a small, shoebox-sized, vehicle that is powered and stopped exclusively by chemical reactions. The objective is not maximum speed, but design, creativity, safety, accuracy, and precision. Each component of the car is split between 4 teams: Circuitry, Assembly, Power, and Stopping Reaction Team. Circuitry Team: Designs and builds the electronic circuits that control the car system. They also program the circuit themselves. Assembly Team — Integrates all mechanical and structural components of the car, including 3D-printed parts, reaction vessels, chassis stability, and ensuring that the design is compliant with AIChE rules. Power Team — Develops, tests, and optimizes the chemical reaction that generates voltage and current to drive the vehicle. This team ensures a consistent and safe starting reaction on race day. Stopping Reaction Team — Designs and calibrates the independent chemical reaction that stops the car precisely and accurately at the target distance. This team performs multiple experiments to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and adherence to safety standards. Every sub-team is important to the overall performance of the car. They are all integral to the safety, technical rigor, innovation, and performance on race day. Beyond the race itself, the competition helps our member develop professional skills including technical documentation, hazard analysis, team coordination, collaboration, knowledge presentation, and real-world application of chemical engineering principles under constraints identical to those encountered in industry. Your help allows for Cougs to express their creativity and use the chemical engineering concepts they learn in class to work on a competitive and real-world design project. In addition, our chapter will be hosting the regional AIChE Conference this year at WSU. This will attract professionals, academics, and students from all over the PNW to our campus. Help our competition team go to Las Vegas to attend the world-renowned Archery Vegas Shoot - the biggest archery competition in the world! WSU Archery Club The WSU Archery Club has been around since 2017, but the history of archery at Washington State University goes back even further. WSU Archery is home to college student archers of all skill levels, whether they are just holding a bow for the first time or have been shooting for years. Our club focuses on teaching safe bow handling, proper shooting form, and how to practice without injury. We mainly use Olympic-style recurve bows, but members are welcome to bring their own, including barebows and compound bows. We work hard to make sure that everyone is shooting safely, learning good technique, and understanding range etiquette. This year, we have an exciting goal. The WSU Archery Club is preparing to attend The Vegas Shoot 2026, one of the biggest and most well-known archery tournaments in the world. The Vegas Shoot brings together thousands of archers from all around the globe, from beginners to professionals. It is an incredible chance for our members to challenge themselves, represent WSU on an international stage, and connect with the larger archery community. In 2024, we attended our first major competition in Spokane at the USA Archery Washington State and JOAD Indoor Championships. Seven of our members competed and earned six medals: two gold, three silver, and one bronze. Since then, our club has grown even more. We now have more active members than ever before, and many of them attend almost every practice. Each week we continue to improve, support each other, and share our love for archery. Your donation to the WSU Archery Club helps make this trip to The Vegas Shoot possible. The funds we raise will go toward travel and lodging costs, tournament registration fees, and shared club equipment. The L.A. Festival of Books is the largest free literary festival in the U.S., and we hope to send multiple members of our club to it in April 2026. At this festival, club members will get to meet independent booksellers, authors, publishers, and literature lovers. Your donation to the L.A. WSU Everett Indoor Soccer Club WSU Everett Soccer Club is making history as the first-ever sports team on our campus. Our team gets together every Thursday evening, warm up and head to the indoor soccer field. We're a coed club bringing together men and women from all different backgrounds and ethnicities, united by our love for soccer. We even have some of our instructors in the team. Being from such varied walks of life makes us stronger and we learn from each other on and off the field. Our captain and founder saw an opportunity to create something special where students could stay active, build community, and represent WSU Everett with pride. We want to expand and join more leagues to give our players more opportunities to compete and grow. Right now, registration fees, equipment costs, and field time expenses are holding us back. There are so many students on our campus and athletes who played in high school, international students who grew up with soccer, and people who just want to be part of a team. Every semester, we create a team that brings our community together and puts our campus on the map. These games celebrate our diversity, showcase our talent, and prove that WSU Everett has what it takes to compete. But this isn't just about winning games. Studies show that university students who work out at least once a week have better grades and better mental health. Our Thursday evening sessions are crucial to our well-being; Playing soccer reduces anxiety, stress, and depression by releasing endorphins, natural mood elevators that help us feel good and stay focused on our studies. Our organization helps members explore a variety of healthcare fields, learn about post-graduate application processes, and develop strong professional and community connections. With many new students joining our campus this year, we aim to reduce financial barriers that limit access to professional development opportunities. This year, our club plans to attend two major events that will help shape our members’ future in healthcare. First, we will visit WSU Spokane’s Health Sciences campus, where students can tour medical, nursing, and pharmacy programs, meet faculty, and gain insight into graduate-level education. In addition, we hope to send students to the Stanford SUMMA Pre-Health Conference, a nationally recognized event that offers workshops, networking sessions, and mentorship from healthcare professionals and medical students. The WSU Concrete Canoe club builds a canoe made out of concrete where we will bring it to competition and race against other schools… and yes, it floats Concrete Canoe The goal of our project is to design, build, and race a fully buoyant canoe made out of concrete. We accomplish this through rigorous testing, experimentation, and trial over the course of the fall and spring semesters. In this process, we participate in a series of activities that mimic real-world project execution. This includes but is not limited to submitting a project proposal and RFIs, technical writing and presentation, design development, networking and collaboration, and construction. Finally, we get to race our product at the ASCE Regional Concrete Canoe Competition (hosted by University of Washington this year). This is a great opportunity to learn skills that are not attainable in the classroom while also sharpening problem-solving, teamwork, and networking skills. Additionally, this is the perfect opportunity to show some Cougar spirit in husky territory. Donations will go directly into funding our project by easing the costs associated with testing different mix materials, completing construction, and transportation and lodging to attend competition. WSU AAVMP Send WSU Vet Students to SAVMA Symposium 2026March 13–15, 2026 | North Carolina The SAVMA Symposium is the biggest national conference for veterinary students in North America, bringing together over a thousand students each year for lectures, hands-on wet labs, workshops, and networking events with practicing vets, researchers, and employers. In 2025, 16 WSU students attended the symposium, where they participated in clinic simulations, learned advanced techniques, and built connections with peers and professionals from across the country. It is benefiting the WSU community upon their return. Our club needs new computers for our lab! We host networks for simulated attack/defense scenarios. Help fund hands-on cybersecurity education. WSU Cybersecurity Group WSU Cybersecurity Group (CSG) is dedicated to helping students get hands-on experience they wouldn't otherwise have access to. The ability to exploit permissions in enterprise networks or hack Wi-Fi passwords are critical skills for any cybersecurity professional or hobbyist, and yet it's difficult to practice these techniques outside of a safe and legal environment. CSG provides that environment, and creates structured exercises to teach cybersecurity enthusiasts of all skill levels. We gained access to our future lab in Fall 2025, and have been building it ever since without any formal funding. With help from the with the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, we've managed to collect tech waste that was discarded or going unused. With this we created a functional proof of concept lab, but we're currently reliant on scavenged, decades-old technology. This prevents us from doing anything technically intensive on the lab computers. With your help, we can upgrade our lab's computers to modern standards. This will grant our exercise developers a much wider range of capabilities. We could run advanced software for network penetration testing, password cracking, software reverse engineering, and more. Furthermore, it would allow us to purchase hardware to expand our exercises to other fields of cybersecurity such as wireless communications and Bluetooth. Cybersecurity is a wide field with many tools to use, and giving students access to these tools provides them with an invaluable learning and professional development opportunity. The second annual IEEE drone race is a student-led building of drones from start to finish, with a competition between drone teams at the end of the year.
The second annual IEEE drone race is a student-led building of drones from start to finish, with a competition between drone teams at the end of the year. WSU-V IEEE Club The WSU-V IEEE Annual Drone Race is a student-led project inspired by Dr. Lynch's solar car race. 3-4 teams of 5-12 students each are given a budget by the IEEE club of $500-700. They are then tasked with prototyping their drone, designating their roles, creating a timeline, building a budget proposal with their chosen parts, collaborating with their team, assembling their drone, testing and then racing their drone. The building of the drones is done over the course of the academic year, with the race held after spring finals week. Drone race is held on the WSU-V campus fields, allowing for students, student families, faculty, or anyone in the community to join us for the race! This project teaches students how to manage time, think creatively, test their mechanical and electrical skills, collaborate with others for a common goal, manage a budget and overcome challenges. Not only does this project benefit the students, but also allows students to connect with faculty during the build process and during race day, where faculty judge the drones based on a given criteria. The funds donated to this Cougstarter up to our goal will be used for drone race, any additional funds over our requested amount will be used for a variety of club events and projects.

Flow and Circus Club Flow and Circus Club is a community driven and focused club built around the magic of flow and circus arts where anyone can come to engage in a unique combination of art, dance, and freedom of expression. Being flow and circus artists in a relatively unknown field, members in this type of expression often find it hard to find a community where they can share, play, and learn together. In addition, acquiring props for manipulation can be expensive which makes it even harder to find people and gather people who might find and share a similar passion for this amazing art form.Our president and founder Inan Harsh, was one such individual who would never have found this personal and life changing passion if it were not for chance and enrollment at TESC, where he came across a flow and circus club in Olympia where props were provided with individuals who taught and shared their skills. Fast forward ten years and he is now trying to spread that love and opportunity with the amazing students and community at Pullmans WSU Campus! Every Tuesday (and hopefully more soon!) Flow and Circus Club gathers to share, play, and flow during our flow jams to grow as individuals and spread awareness of Flow arts can do for the community. Right now we are a small and upcoming club trying to make a big difference on the community and individuals!Your donation to Flow and Circus Club will go to new props and prop materials to make for our club to manipulate and learn on, all of which will be purchased by local and semi local individual artists who are experts in their field of prop manipulation. Japanese Student Association About the Japanese Student Association (JSA) JSA is a cultural student organization at Washington State University. Our main goal is to promote and celebrate Japanese culture through our general meetings and events! We host workshops about food, pop culture, games, and many other cultural things. One example of a big event that we host is our annual Undokai, or Sports Day. This year, our Undokai event had around 120 attendees, and we had six other cultural organizations as our guests. What is Tanabata? Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival, is a major festival held in Japan. This festival celebrates the annual meeting of two Japanese deities who can only meet one day of the year. In Japan, this festival is accompanied by street vendors, performances, and beautiful decorations. JSA's Tanabata This year, JSA is proud to present our first ever cultural night! Since our club's inception in 2016, we haven't had the numbers to host a major cultural event, but in the past couple of years, JSA has experienced tremendous growth and we are excited to take this leap into a major cultural exhibition! We will be hosting our event on February 21st, 2026 in the CUB Senior Ballroom from 6-8pm. Our culture night will be filled with traditional dances, games, food, and much more. Crimson Motorsports Who are we Crimson Motorsports (formerly known as WSU Formula Electric), is a multidisciplinary organization, mainly focused on engineering but encompassing several fields of study. We are a fully electric Formula SAE team made up of over 30 extremely dedicated students, coming from different majors such as mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, as well as business administration, marketing, finance and digital technology culture. This organization allows students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to gain skills working on real world problems. It also allows students to create crucial connections with other students, businesses and professionals in the workforce. Our Goal The 2025-2026 season is an unprecedented time in the team’s history. For many years we have been designing and developing our very first electric racecar and in Spring 2025, we were able to build the chassis of the car. With the chassis built we can officially earn points and place at the 2026 Formula SAE National Competition in Michigan. However, to do so we must be able to first cover the registration fee for competition. Donations will go directly towards covering our registration fees along with any additional funding leftover going towards other travel expenses to get the car and students to competition. WSU Swim Club We are working to raise funds to send 11 swimmers to 2025 CCS Western Regionals in Mission Viejo, CA and other travel events in the future. As a club our goal is to provide a fun and safe space for college students to continue their love for swimming and achieve their goals. We work to build lasting relationships and life skills that can be applied after a swimmer's time with our club. Last year we were able to send 8 swimmers to the 2024 CCS Western Regionals in San Diego with the help of generous donations. We built relationships, gained a presence, and became closer as team. This year we have the goal of sending 12 swimmers to Regionals and our travel meets, we are wanting to send more swimmers in order to further expand our presence and build relationships with other clubs in the region. We will be able to score more points, have more relays, and just have more fun. Because the more the merrier! By donating to our goal, we can take some of the financial burden off of our swimmers, to help them continue to work towards their college swimming goals!

Esports Club The Esports Club: Competition, community, and computers led the WSU Esports Club to be founded in 2015, right when the industry started rearing its head. Since then, esports has erupted–the billion-dollar industry is projected to double its current market value in just three years, and will only continue to rise. That's where we come in: we want a piece of the pie. This year, we are resurging our club’s initiative by increasing community engagement, hosting more events, and, of course, sending our players to national collegiate tournaments. 2025-2026 is our most ambitious year yet, and we need your help to achieve our goals!Our Cause: The strongest of bonds are formed in the fiercest of fights. Tournaments are just the location for that–by participating, our players will form inseparable bonds and have the chance to be a part of something bigger than simple personal accomplishment. We also take this opportunity to ingrain ourselves into the gaming and esports industry, markets full of both monetary and creative promise. By competing in tournaments, we solidify our position and put our name on the map–and what’s better for recruitment than student interest? Over 85% of Gen. Z and Gen. Alpha are gamers, and that number isn’t going down. If any industry is worth investing in, it’s this one. Why Donate? There are two big motivators for just about any sports team: fans, and winning an “ultimate” championship (think the World Series, Superbowl, etc.). It’s the same with esports; support only makes us fight harder and win more games. With more wins, we get more fans, more publicity, and more players who want to join our team. There is also the reality that traveling isn’t exactly inexpensive. Between flight or gas costs, hotels, and registration, the numbers add up, and we frankly don’t have that kind of cash. Neither do our players. Our path to victory can only be truly achieved through your donations–every little bit helps.

This year our club team is hoping to fundraise enough to take both of our teams to 6 tournaments during the competition season and purchase some new equipment! WSU Women's Club Volleyball If you're new to the family, welcome! A bit more about our program: WSU Women's Club Volleyball is a competitive collegiate club volleyball program, competing as part of the Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (PIVA) in the Pacific Northwest. We travel and compete against other schools located in OR, WA, ID, MT, and BC, Canada! A regular season typically consists of five regional tournaments. To remain competitive in PIVA, our program aims to attend each tournament; the travel, hotels, and tournament fees for these PIVA tournaments cost the program around $10,000. This value doesn't include players' out-of-pocket expenses, including meals, athletic gear, and team apparel. Last year, we were fortunate to take our men’s and women’s Crimson (A) teams to Phoenix, AZ for the NCVF National Tournament. Our women’s team fought long and hard to place 21st in the nation in our division (D1AAA) - a big improvement from previous years! Our programs have seen significant improvements and increased interest over the last few years, and we hope to continue this trend to represent WSU and the larger Coug community well. As we strive to grow as teammates and as individuals to make the most of this season, we are seeking support from friends and family who believe in our program. Building Guppy: An Autonomous Submarine for RoboSub 2026!

Guppy is our autonomous robotic submarine that our team of 40 is designing and building to compete at the international level at RoboSub 2026. RoboSub of the Palouse Guppy is a brand-new autonomous submarine that our team, RoboSub of the Palouse, is designing and building to compete at RoboSub 2026. Guppy will use onboard AI to navigate and complete complex tasks in a controlled underwater course without any human communication. We need your help to bring Guppy to life. Your support will give our team the materials and resources we need to design, build, and prepare for the competition on the international stage. The Team Behind Guppy After not competing since 2019 due to the pandemic, our team has quickly grown from just six members to more than 40 active students. With so many new people, we needed a way to get everyone ready to contribute to the submarine right away. To do that, we began hosting hands-on workshops covering every skill our members need. Because of this training, every team member plays an active role in building Guppy. Some people design components of the body, some design circuit boards, others manufacture parts, and many work on programming its control systems. We design and manufacture many of our parts in house, and we build custom electronic boards that allow our submarine to operate independently in the water. About the Competition RoboSub 2026 is an international competition held in California where university teams from around the world build submarines to complete a series of challenging missions without any remote control from the teams. Submarines get points by navigating through gates, picking up and transporting objects, shooting torpedoes at targets, dropping markers into bins, and interacting with underwater props. These tasks test the reliability of the submarine but also the quality of the team’s design, control systems, and software. Guppy will face some of the best teams around, and your support helps ensure that Washington State University is ready to compete at that level. Our Cause To make this vision a reality, we need your help. This year, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to support the manufacturing and electronic assembling phase of our project. Donations will directly fund: Materials like aluminum stock and acrylic water-tight housing Sensors and control system for real-time underwater navigation Circuit board fabrication In-house part manufacturing costs for precision-machined parts Your support will help us finish Guppy’s core system before the spring semester, so that we can fully test, refine, and compete on the international stage in July 2026. Impact Our team is committed to giving students the practical skills and experience that they wouldn’t get from a lecture hall alone. From first-time programmers to seasoned developers, participants form teams to design and build innovative projects in just 24 hours. Now entering its 2026 season, CrimsonCode continues to grow as one of WSU’s most exciting tech traditions, drawing 250+ participants from 5+ universities. This year, our goal is to expand accessibility and resources for participants — offering better tools, workshops, and an inclusive environment where every student can learn, create, and connect. This organization is built on the foundation of fellowship, industry, sobriety, and high ideals. The Beta Pi chapter at WSU Spokane focuses on philanthropic service, leadership, and community. Our organization is highly recognized for the work we do around the Spokane community such as initiating donation drives (books, back-to-school supplies, winter coats, etc.), volunteering at elementary schools to teach about health, and fundraising initiatives. This spring, Kappa Psi is hosting the second annual Unleash the Cougs 5K Fun Run! Last April 2025, Kappa Psi hosted our first ever 5K run with 150+ participants. Unleash the Cougs was a great way to bring the WSU and Spokane community together, thus further developing Kappa Psi's mission to serve our community. With the help from our sponsors, we were able to host a successful event. However, we're hoping to increase the scale of our event this year to help support even more participants! Palouse Aerospace This year, we’re taking the next step for our club: creating our own rocket engines. We are developing a liquid bipropellant rocket powered by a regeneratively-cooled kerosene–liquid oxygen engine. Liquid oxygen-powered engines are at the forefront of both industry and collegiate rocketry. With our club being the primary representation of aerospace engineering at WSU, we seek to establish WSU as a renowned name in collegiate rocketry! Through club projects, students gain experience in several skills, including the use of industry-standard Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Through fabricating most of our own components, our members gain hands-on manufacturing experience Along with our main project, Palouse Aerospace provides several ways for new members to get involved and learn through their own projects! Each year, we facilitate a high-power rocketry certification course, with students designing, building, and launching their own high-power rockets. We also provide support for numerous personal projects, enabling our members to dive into their own passions in aerospace. Not just rockets! The Planes Department at Palouse Aerospace has built aircraft of all scales, from a 12-foot wingspan cargo plane to introductory RC models and a solar-powered plane. Founded in 1995, we first established ourselves as a student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). We are fundraising for our members to spend a weekend participating in wet labs and lectures by industry professionals at the UW Friday Harbor Laboratories. WSU Aquatics Vet-Med Club About Us: The WSU CVM Aquatics Club focuses on all aspects of aquatic animal medicine, including fisheries, aquaculture, research, wildlife, zoo and aquarium medicine. Our goals are to generate an interest in aquatic and semi-aquatic species by providing various lectures, hands-on opportunities, and field trips to students who are interested in pursuing an aquatic veterinary medicine career. We also provide to club members resources for internships, externships, and summer workshops. Wet labs and field trips include necropsies, trips to behind-the-scenes tours of aquariums, fish anesthesia labs, and tours of local hatcheries. Objective: Washington state veterinary students are in the unique position of being located in a coastal state, but limited by the fact they are in the inland portion of it. This makes building connections and gaining experience with current Aquatic Veterinarians difficult, as the travel required to have those hands-on opportunities is extensive. Friday Harbor Laboratories is located on San Juan Island, a 385 mile drive from Pullman that includes a ferry ride and takes 7.5 hours. Due to the lengthy travel time, overnight housing will be needed. To offset the hardship of these costs we are turning to our community to support us on this educational endeavor. Impact: The UW Friday Harbor Laboratories are located on a biological preserve on San Juan Island. They have multiple research labs, including one focused on sea star wasting disease, which has significantly impacted sea star populations in Puget Sound over the last decade. Veterinary students will participate in tours, wet labs and lectures from current aquatic professionals. Aquatics are not covered in our core curriculum and there is limited time to participate in elective lectures on it, leaving the WSU CVM Aquatics Club to fill in the gaps. This opportunity has been months in the making and planning, and we don't want the financial burden of housing, food and travel to prevent students from attending. Help Palouse Aerospace Society members travel to Midland, Texas for IREC 2025! Palouse Aerospace Society Palouse Aerospace is WSU Pullman's rocketry and aviation engineering club! Our club focuses on providing hand on engineering experience to students through projects in rocketry and aerospace. Over the last year Palouse Aerospace has continued to grow and attract new members and has taken on a few different projects. The plane team completed their cargo plane project and took on the challenge of building a fully solar powered plane. The rocket team has been hard at work on our next submission to the Spaceport America Cup through design work and small-scale testing. We are looking forward to exciting projects that our team has in store! From paper planes to hydrogen powered drones, Palouse Aerospace offers students the opportunity to get hands-on experience in a wide-ranging discipline. The club currently consists of some 30 driven, undergraduate engineering students with a passion for aerospace. Our goal as a club is to provide WSU students with hands-on engineering experience, giving them a chance to apply classwork and develop skills that they can apply within industry to solve practical, real-world problems. HISTORY Founded in 1995, we first established ourselves as a student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). More recently, we competed in the International Rocketry Engineering Competition (formerly the Spaceport America Cup) in 2023 and are looking to make a return this summer for 2025! We’re also committed to research projects in cooperation with various on-campus research laboratories and industry partners. With the more recent adoption of our new name and logo comes the beginning of a new era. Having an established, rich, history we feel it is now appropriate for our organization to tackle more ambitious goals and projects. As we continue to grow the club and improve our skillsets and knowledge we are ready to take new and exciting challenges! CURRENT PROJECTS At Palouse Aerospace, students have the opportunity to see their projects evolve through the entire engineering design process. All students are encouraged to participate throughout every phase including design, manufacturing, testing, and iteration. Currently under continuing development by the Plane Team is a multipurpose Cargo Plane! The goal for the cargo plane project is to carry a payload of up to 10 pounds to altitudes of 400 ft. This project is for learning composite construction techniques and general model aircraft skills. The dual fuselage under the wing center makes for a lightweight plane capable of carrying cargo with odd geometries. The wing, tail, and boom were completed at the end of the Spring 2023 semester. Since then the team has completed the fuselages, assembled the airplane, and installed the motors. The maiden flight of the airframe was last spring and we have successfully flown the plane several times since then. Currently, the team is working on the payload drop mechanism for use with a variety of payloads, as well as overhauling the landing gear. The rocket team has been working on our next submission for the International Rocketry Engineering Competition - the world’s largest collegiate rocket engineering competition. Rocket team members have the opportunity to represent Washington State University and compete against some of the world’s best universities. Nearly 6,000 students from across 24 different countries participated in the 2023 competition. As a part of this project, we have been developing our own composite structures to be used in the airframe including new bulkheads and filament wound airframe. The overall goal is to make as much of the rocket in-house as we can, this reduces cost and allows members to get more hands-on with the manufacturing process. This also gives us much more control over the material properties of the composites that we make so they are better optimized for weight. As a part of this development, we successfully manufactured and flew a sub-scale rocket for our 2025 design. This sub-scale rocket also served as a flight test article for our filament wound tubes. We were able to fly the subscale in both September and October of last year. These test flights have given us a much better idea of how this airframe flies and have already made design changes to our competition rocket to account for this. If selected, we would have the incredible opportunity to work directly with NASA engineers to develop and refine a prototype rocket. Physics & Astronomy Club The Physics and Astronomy Club is a registered student organization dedicated to creating a welcoming and enriching community for all students at WSU. As a club, we host events for the people of the greater Pullman area who want to learn more about physics and the world around us. Through our annual pumpkin and egg drops, observatory nights, and Kid Science and Engineering Day (KSED), we aim to inspire and engage everyone in a subject we are very passionate about. At our weekly club meetings, we get to hear from professors, engage in physics-based craft projects, and other activities to help foster a greater sense of community in a major that can often times feel isolating. With this project, we hope to fund a trip for around 21 students to tour the LIGO/Hanford observatory in Livingston, WA. We were invited to tour while hosting the Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (CU*iP) and are excited for the opportunity to visit a site at the cutting edge of physics research. Through this fundraiser, we seek $1200 to provide transportation to and from the observatory as well as hotel rooms for one night. Money raised beyond our goal can be used to provide more hotel rooms or meals for those who need them. Additionally, donations may go towards the purchase of materials for our annual egg and pumpkin drops, other science outreach projects we host throughout the year, and continued club activities. WSU Tennis Club The WSU Tennis Club is a student-run sports club that produces opportunities for both beginners and experienced players to play tennis. We have both a recreation and competitive team! Anyone is allowed to join our recreational team and attend practices where we will play games and have a coaching court to help refine your tennis techniques. Members who are interested in playing competitively try out at the beginning of the fall semester and travel often to tournaments to play other schools. We also hold multiple tournaments a year for our rec members, along with a community tournament open to all. The WSU Tennis Club strives to make tennis more accessible for all Washington State students and faculty with the least expensive dues out of all recreational sport clubs offered at the university. This is to ensure that playing tennis is not seen as a luxury at our school, but instead, as an open opportunity to get involved and grow a love for the sport. That being said, with our low due rates, the club struggles to raise the money we need to provide our members with the fullest of opportunities. Your donation would go toward buying new balls, holding local recreational tennis events, providing scholarships for students who cannot afford our tennis dues, expenses for competitive tournaments, and more. We compete at the D1AA level in the Northwest College Rugby Conference (NCRC) and are governed by National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). Our conference is stacked with some of the top schools in the nation, including Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Boise State, and Western Washington, making every season a battle worth fighting. In recent years, we've been extremely successful at the regional level, winning our conference division for the past 2 years, but taking the next step to the national stage has been a challenge. As one of just four NCR-sanctioned schools in the NCRC (others are sanctioned by College Rugby Association of America) - and the only one at the D1AA level - we face unique obstacles. Every D1AA National Qualifier tournament in recent history has been held in the Midwest or East Coast, which means sending our squad of 25 racks up hefty travel costs. Our goal each and every year has been to finally make that next step and compete on the national stage in hopes of bringing a National Championship back to Pullman, but in order to do that, we need your help to ensure we have the resources necessary to compete at our best. Phi Delta Chi We are the WSU Gamma Psi chapter of Phi Delta Chi, a professional pharmacy student fraternity dedicated to providing a lifelong home for pharmacy professionals inspiring brotherhood, leadership, service, and scholarship. We stand for purpose-driven leadership, deep and lasting bonds with one another, selfless service, and lifelong learning. The Gamma Psi chapter has been at WSU since February 8th, 2014. This spring, we are raising money to order our chapter brand-new and updated uniforms and to help pay for our national fees! During COVID, our fraternity and thus our professional pharmacy students suffered financially, but we have been trying our best to recover since then by conducting local fundraisers and philanthropic events. This last December, we gained 28 new members, increasing our fraternity size by 3 times the amount! Our chapter enjoys volunteering in the community, raising money for St. Jude’s, and spreading the support wherever we can reach. We would love to be seen in our Coug community proudly wearing new uniforms that are recognizable, welcoming, and comforting to any other community members. Any of the extra proceeds we earn past our main goal will go towards paying for our national fees and to expand and grow the fraternity’s impact beyond WSU’s campus. We would love to continue to help our community and that includes part of the proceeds going to our philanthropic partner, St Jude's! Phi Delta Chi’s mission goes hand in hand with the mission of St Jude's, which is to provide quality services to patients which in turn strengthens the health professional community. Agricultural Education Club WSU Ag Ed Club is geared toward better preparing Ag Ed Students to become Agricultural Educators, and support agricultural education and FFA events throughout the state. Any WSU student can join the club! Our club helps prepare our members for success teaching in the classroom, advising FFA chapters, and supervising Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). We benefit our members by helping them network with current ag teachers, giving them a head start on implementing and coaching competitive events, developing their knowledge of agricultural industries and issues impacting the state and nation, as well as team bonding with their classmates and future colleagues. Our club supports the community by hosting FFA contests for Washington FFA groups across the state, providing judges for contests and workshops for students, and hosting the Washington State FFA Convention each year. We also advocate for our members to volunteer at fairs, local schools and chapters, and other FFA events around the state. Our club members are always eager to learn more about agriculture and education. This year we are planning several professional developments events and industry tours to further our members' knowledge before they reach the classroom. Some of these events include visiting various farms, a meat packing plant, aluminum boat factory, and setting up workshops to learn more about FFA contests. Additionally we will take our members to the National Association of Agriculture Educators Western Region Conference in Bend, OR in April, where students can engage in professional development workshops with ag teachers from across the west and attend special sessions for pre-service ag teachers. Your donation to Ag Ed Club will help keep these events possible and free to our club members. It will also increase the number and diversity of opportunities we can provide and the number of students who can attend the NAAE conference. Sierra Hotel Booster Club SHBC (Sierra Hotel Booster Club) is a club whose mission is to support cadet-led clubs and morale events held at Detachment 905. The clubs we support are: SWC (Special Warfare Challenge) where cadets get to train and improve their physical and mental strength as well as water confidence with pool sessions and land sessions. SWC cadets get the opportunity to compete against other AFROTC detachments and show their Cougar Pride! SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape) where cadets learn how to survive in harsh climates with few resources. I5 (Space Force) where our Space Force cadets get to train and understand the space and cyber domains in preparation for the future. Now with recently funded VR systems from SHBC! Aviation Club is a club where cadets who like aviation or have a desire to become pilots can learn more about planes and how to pursue that career path. Hangar Hours is an all-in-one event planner for detachment-wide morale, with events like video games, board games, movies, sports, mentorship opportunities, etc. Arnold Air Society is a professional organization, named after Air Force General Henry "Hap" Arnold, dedicated to enhancing the quality of cadets and producing members of society committed to their communities. Honor Guard is a dedicated club of cadets who specialize in drill and ceremonies. These cadets are responsible for the presentation of colors at ceremonies and events, such as Cougar Football games. Det 905's Honor Guard also assists in high school JROTC Drill Competitions. All of the clubs bring new leadership opportunities to up-and-coming cadets allowing them to build their leadership qualities now so that when they are commissioned into the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant, they are ready to effectively lead and serve the United States of America! Donations made will go directly into all of these clubs bringing greater training values to our future armed servicemen and women!

Help turn our Archery Club into a competitive team by supporting our tournament travel and upgrading our equipment! WSU Archery Club WSU Archery Club as been around since 2017, but the history of Archery at the school goes back even further! WSU Archery is an organization that is home to college student archers of all skill levels, no matter if they are just holding a bow for the first time, or if they've been doing archery for 10 years! Our club mainly focuses on teaching safe bow handling and how to shoot without injury. We use Olympic style recurve archery bows, but members are able to bring their own bows, including bare bows and compound bows! We do our best to make sure that we are shooting safely, teaching people the importance of how to handle a bow correctly, and proper range etiquette. This year has been one of the best years for WSU Archery. We went to our first big competition in Spokane, competing at the 2024 USA Archery Washington State and JOAD indoor championships. 7 of our members went and competed, and we took home 6 medals. 2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze. Not only this, but our club has grown significantly! We have more members than ever, and most of them are regulars who attend almost, if not, all practices! There are many more things we wish to learn and accomplish, and many more people we wish to bring into our little archery community at WSU. We wish to foster and grow a community that lasts a lifetime, and teaches people to love and cherish archery just as much as we do. Your donation to the Archery Club Tournament and Equipment Upgrades helps us go to and hopefully win more competitions, buy more equipment to keep up with the influx of new members, and to raise more eyes to the WSU Archery Club community! Key issues include the absence of ADA-compliant railings on the concrete pad, rainwater entering the building and damaging the interior, and the need for the design to meet City of Moscow engineering standards. Engineers Without Borders at Washington State University (EWB-WSU) is taking on this project, which involves creating a civil engineering structural report, detailed drawings, and submitting the design for approval by an Idaho Project Engineer and the City of Moscow. Upon approval, EWB-WSU will oversee material procurement, fabrication, assembly, and installation of the awning to ensure a functional and compliant solution for the center.

IEEE’s goal for 2024 - 2025 is to strengthen our community within WSU's College of Engineering and Science through the revival of our Annual Hardware Hackathon. Your donations will support this dynamic event and help students enhance their skills and build relationships within their education.What is the Hardware Hackathon? The Hackathon is a 24-hour event where students come together to build, learn, and innovate outside the traditional classroom setting. Teams of 1-4 students group together to brainstorm and develop a project that aligns with a designated theme. Throughout this event, they work closely with supplied electronics, components, materials, and tools, building and writing code for their designs to turn their ideas into reality. The results of these events usually end with small to even large innovations in the world of technology. Not to mention, they create a better basis for student’s academics and a stronger more collaborative community within their department.This event is a great way for students to receive hands-on experience across all academic levels from first-year undergraduates to seasoned graduate students. It's an opportunity to experiment with new technologies, like learning a programming language overnight or using a soldering iron for the first time, and to apply theoretical knowledge in practical, real-world scenarios.A Hardware Hackathon also benefits the University by creating a more devoted and diverse College of Engineering and Computer Science. Students from all types of engineering, arts and sciences partner together to create amazing, original products. After 24 hours of working with members of all sorts of majors, students become more proactive at group work and know how to handle coworkers or classmates in stressful situations. These hackathons continue to further a student’s knowledge in the incredible resources offered by their school, overall creating a more active university.Previous Hardware Hackathons have sparked remarkable inventions. We have had a mag-strip spoofer created using a hand built magnetic field that allowed students to download data onto the device then open doors just by waving it in front of a card-swiper, a mailbox that alerted a person when a letter was received, a robotic hand that signaled sign language. On top of all these creations, remote control cars, lamps, robots of all color, shape, and size have been created at WSU Hardware Hackathons!Your donation helps continue this tradition of innovation and learning, providing resources for parts, tools, food, and awards, while supporting future leaders of technology and engineering!

WSU Women's Volleyball Club The WSU Women's Club Volleyball Team cannot adequately express our gratitude for your support throughout the season. Your support is seen and felt in all of it’s ways, from watching our live-streamed games to traveling to NCVF Nationals with us. We wanted to remind you how important you are to the Club Volleyball Family - you are our reason! If you're new to the family, welcome! A bit more about our program: WSU Club Volleyball is a competitive college volleyball program, competing as part of the Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (PIVA) in the Pacific Northwest. We travel and compete against other schools located in OR, WA, ID, and BC! A regular season typically consists of five regional tournaments. To remain competitive in PIVA, our men’s and women’s programs aim to attend each tournament; the travel, hotels, and tournament fees cost the programs around $10,000. This value doesn't include players' out-of-pocket expenses, including meals, athletic gear, and team apparel. Last year, we were fortunate to take our men’s and women’s Crimson (A) teams to Kansas City, MO for the NCVF National Tournament. Our women’s team fought long and hard to place second in our bracket and our men’s team was able to place 1st for the entire DIAAA division! This year, our Crimson (A) Team has been granted the opportunity to travel to Phoenix, AZ for the 2025 NCVF National Tournament. We will be competing against other universities from all over the country in a competitive setting - this opportunity is what keeps us working so hard all year! Our programs have seen significant improvements and increased interest over the last few years, and we hope to continue this trend to represent WSU and the larger Coug community well. As we strive to grow as teammates and as individuals to make the most of this season, we are seeking support from friends and family who believe in our program. Society of Women Engineers The Washington State University Everett chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is excited to host our annual Evening with Industry! SWE is dedicated to supporting not only women in engineering but all minorities in STEM. Our goal on campus is to foster an inclusive community where students feel welcome, heard, and supported. Nearly all of our events are campus-wide, ensuring that everyone has access to resources and opportunities. Many of WSU Everett’s students are non-traditional, including first-generation college students, working professionals, parents, and students from immigrant or international backgrounds. We take pride in helping these students gain a competitive edge in their engineering careers. What does SWE do throughout the year? SWE is active year-round, hosting events that bring students together, develop technical skills, and create career opportunities: Soldering Workshops – Twice a year, we host soldering events that engage students from all disciplines—engineering, agriculture, communications, education, and more—fostering a supportive and collaborative campus culture. National Conference – Each year, a small group of members attends SWE’s National Conference, gaining inspiration from keynote speakers, industry leaders, and networking opportunities. Last year, two of our members secured internships from the career fair! Girls Explore STEM – We participate in this bi-annual outreach event, introducing middle-school girls to STEM through hands-on workshops and mentorship, showing them that resources and representation exist to support them through college. Company Tours & Workshops – Throughout the year, we partner with local companies to give students firsthand exposure to engineering environments. These tours and workshops connect students with hiring managers who provide resume critiques, interview tips, and career advice. We are always striving to expand our reach and are currently developing mentoring programs and outreach initiatives for local high schools. What is Evening with Industry? This event is the culmination of our year of networking, company tours, and career-building workshops. Throughout the year, we’ve worked hard to gather industry contacts, alumni connections, and faculty recommendations—all to bring fantastic companies to meet our students!Last year, our on-campus event grew so large that it spilled into the lobby. This year, we’re taking it off-campus to a dedicated venue to accommodate even more students and professionals. At Evening with Industry, engineering students from WSU Everett, along with Everett Community College students, will network over dinner with company representatives. Students will have the opportunity to ask engineers about their careers, learn about internships and job openings, and gain valuable insight into the industry. For graduating seniors, this is a prime chance to connect with potential employers and secure opportunities before graduation. This event is the biggest SWE hosts on campus and an incredible resource for students, companies, and the broader community. It’s our way of ensuring that students have direct access to the connections, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive in their engineering careers. What will donating help? We are committed to advocating for and supporting our students to the fullest extent. Your donation will ensure that every student can attend this event for free, removing financial barriers and making it accessible to all. It will also help us provide catering from a local business, so students can focus on networking and connecting with professionals—rather than worrying about keeping the buffet stocked or serving food. Additionally, your support will allow us to move the event off-campus to a more spacious venue. Last year, despite its overwhelming success, our space was so limited that some students and company representatives had to sit in the lobby, making them feel disconnected from the event. Support students in creating a playable video game in just 48 hours! Game Development Club First time hearing about the Crimson Game Jam? If so you may not have heard of our club. We are the Game Development Club at WSU! Our shared passion of video games and our urge of creativity and use of technical knowledge brought us as students together, forming our club today. Releasing a video game title through game development depends on many different disciplines: Artists, Programmers, Designers, Musicians, and so many more. We drive to give those who participate in our club creative outlets so they can prosper, and by showing them what they can achieve through our hosted events and meetings. This will be our fourth time hosting the Crimson Game Jam, and we are so thrilled to see what our participants create next! What's the Crimson Game Jam? "Crimson" comes from our beautiful school colors, however "Game Jam" is an event where participants of many disciplines get together or go solo in a competition to create a finished game in under just 48 hours! Each game jam is tied to a theme which all participants are forced to build their game around. In our previous crimson game jams we've brought in a guest speaker that has had experience in the gaming industry during our opening ceremony before we announce the theme and start the 48 hour timer. We do so to motivate and educate the participants before they endure the challenges to come, and want to continue this tradition for this crimson game jam. The submissions of our previous participants are always so creative, funny, and heart-racing, revealing the amount of work and knowledge gained from the experience. If you'd like to see some of these submissions there are videos above in the reel, and if you want to play them yourself there are links to all the submissions of our previous game jams at the bottom of this description. We are constantly striving to create improved experiences to the game jam for the participants. With our previous crimson game jam we reached our goal of having a venue for the entire duration, day and night, in the Sloan Building. With this said, we still dream of the spark building becoming home to our annual crimson game jam. Another goal we were able to accomplish was the abundance of development-sustaining food, snacks, and drinks during our opening ceremony but as the night approached so did the end of the food supply. We are hoping for this crimson game jam we get to serve these amenities all through out the 48 hour development process. The only reason we could achieve any of the previous goals was from your support so we know we cannot do this alone - we are asking for your further support to make this another successful event! By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign, you'll help provide the essential resources, the venue, and the food and snacks to keep our developers fueled and focused. This is truly an event of all-out, non-stop (all-night) learning -- it can be supercharged with help from you! 90% of participants voted a 5 out of 5 when asked how much they learned during the first Crimson Game Jam experience. Together, we'll foster a community of innovation and teamwork, inspiring students to explore their passion for game development. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference. NSBE WSU Chapter National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a premiere professional organization that empowers Black engineering students. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. So, we created a environment where we foster a supportive community in which all members can thrive, rooted on principles of diversity and inclusion. As a professional society, our students are well aware of the incredible value of building a network. Recognizing that this is a key part of fostering corporate relationships, this is an important tool that we teach as a professional organization. This, coupled with our core values rooted in cultural competency, is something that is capitalized on during the NSBE National Convention, making it an invaluable learning opportunity for our students. NSBE Annual Convention is the culmination of the year’s work of NSBE chapters from all over the country. It serves as a platform for research and 400-plus career fairs exhibitors, educational workshops, networking opportunities and more! The NSBE 2025 Annual National Convention is anticipated to have 15,000 attendees and will be hosted by Region III on March 05-09, 2025 in Chicago, IL. The objective of our trip is to cultivate skills in professional practice, corporate understanding, and learn more about what employers are looking for. Additionally, we aim to create networking opportunities with recruiters, opening doors to potential offers. WSU Women's Rugby The WSU's Women's Rugby creates an environment of family and success, winning multiple different awards in the seasons past. COVID-19 prevented us from growing and with that, we lost almost all of our players in the 2021-2022 season, leaving the president and coach to figure out something new. With hard work and dedication, the team has now started to rebuild and with that, the spirit of rugby lives on our team. As we rebuild our foundation, we will, of course, face struggles in becoming a whole unit, once again. So we are focusing on fostering talent, promoting equality in sports, and building a robust community of supporters. By offering training facilities, essential equipment, and opportunities for competitive play, we ensure that our athletes can perform at their best. After being inactive for so long, we think that these things are a great opportunity for our project to be dedicated to supporting and advancing women's rugby. Men's Club Volleyball Team We are excited to get started with the 2024-2025 club volleyball season! We compete in the Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association(PIVA) along with nearly 30 other schools. Each year, our team chemistry as well as our level of play increases significantly, which is why in the 2023-2024 season we finished as one of the top six teams in our league! In April of this year, we attended the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation's(NCVF) national tournament in Kansas City, MO, which had over 250 men's club volleyball teams in attendance. After losing our very first game of the tournament, we went on to win the next nine games straight and became National Champions! Our goal each year is to be able to attend the national tournament, as well as all of our league tournaments but in order to do that we need your help to ensure we have the resources necessary to compete at our best. Every contribution brings us one step closer to our goals and enhances our team experience. What We Need: New Uniforms: As a competitive team, we want to represent WSU with pride and professionalism. New uniforms will not only boost team morale but also help us stand out at tournaments. Essential Equipment: Quality training is crucial to our success. Biomedical Engineering Society Biomedical Engineering Society is a national professional society established in 1968 to promote knowledge and education in bioengineering worldwide and its utilization of human health and wellbeing. There are over 80 student chapters that represent the foundation and future of the biomedical engineering profession, and we represent Washington State University as one of those chapters. This year is a big year for us as we have been working hard the past few years to rebuild what was left to die in 2020, and now that we have established a presence, it's time to think bigger and better. So many goals for this year center around funding more to do more field trips for experience, establish a club project, and connect with the national bioengineering community. As part of our goals of connection and community, it has always been within our dreams to network and build a strong relationship with the national BMES organization and all of its chapters. Every year, the national BMES organization hosts large conferences with all the chapters and public speakers within the profession to socialize and make connections between each other. This is our chapter's chance to connect with national leaders, other chapters, and start building our club up from the stepping stones created for us by the previous years. Since 2020, we've been rebuilding our organization from the ground up and paying off our debts, this year we want it to be different, to do more than just scrape by and take the first steps to making our chapter a grand support to the WSU educational environmental. Help us revive our club! We are working on reviving our club and creating a robot. Any donation will go to materials and tools needed to build. WSU Robotics Club WSU Robotics Club is the hub for general robotics at Washington State University. After facing significant challenges over the past five years, we are ready to return stronger than ever! This year marks a fresh start as we rebuild the club into the premier destination for students passionate about programming and engineering. However, we quickly discovered that the club was missing the essential tools and materials needed to bring our projects to life—even basic items like a proper screwdriver set. This is where your support can make a difference. Our History WSU Robotics Club was once a large community, boasting over 60 members who split up into subteams and worked on projects such as a prosthetic hand, a camera drone, a robotic arm for chess, a BB-8 clone, a beer pong robot, and even competed in Battlebots and the Mars Rover Challenge. Despite the successes pre-COVID, the club fell by the wayside over the past 5 years. When we became execs of the club this year, there were no active members and no active projects. We found our website to be down since 2019, our email inaccessible, and the drawers do not contain a complete set of screwdrivers. Even though we’re starting from scratch, we are confident that our efforts will create a collaborative space for students interested in automation, machine learning, and human-machine interaction, as well as those passionate about design, programming, and manufacturing. Together, they’ll be able to innovate, have fun, and produce something remarkable. Our Present We started this year by building a 3DoF robotic arm to test the Cybergear motors, which are one of the most cost-effective BLDC (Brushless DC) motors on the market. After testing the motor's torque and thermal performance, we started designing a robotic dog (shown below) inspired by the MIT Mini Cheetah, Cheetah 3, and the Unitree Go2. It will have 12 motors on board, making it a great testbed for any programs we plan to implement. The quadruped design comprises 4 similar leg units and a chassis designed to be modular for future iterations. Our Future With the guidance of our advisor, Dr. John Swensen, we will transform the quadruped robot from just being able to walk to a machine that can sense surroundings and maintain balance. We will add camera and LiDaR modules, Internal Measurement units, and GPU units and program in features such as object recognition, collision avoidance, auto-balancing, and route guidance. With these programming-intensive tasks in the future, we also plan on developing a 6DoF robot arm that can be attached to the robot dog and enable it to interact with its surroundings.

This project is designed to support individuals and families in the Tri-Cities area who are struggling to cope with the harsh winter conditions. Many in our community face the cold without adequate clothing or shelter, and through this initiative, we hope to bring warmth and relief to those in need. Our care packages will include essential winter items such as hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, and hygiene products. We have been competing in the MCLA lacrosse league for decades, and due to a total lack of lacrosse exposure in the region we have we have faced an uphill climb to fight against well established programs with championship pedigree. Our current leadership is very eager to turn this team around by finally breaking through these barriers to success. Any donation goes a long ways towards ensuring our success and longevity as a program. For long enough we have waited in silence as the teams around us filled their pockets off the backs of institutional support and donors, we feel like now is our time to do the same. The current robotics battle arena could use some changes! We are hoping to expand to bigger and better leagues. Help us improve our arena and make that happen! Crimson Robotics Crimson Robotics is WSU's official combat robotics club. We design, build, and compete with robots ranging from 3 to 250 pounds that are designed to fight and destroy other combat robots. Twice a year, Crimson Robotics hosts the Crimson Bot Brawl, a combat robotics competition featuring 1lb and 3lb robots. Club members put their designs to the test in a thrilling tournament, battling competitors from within the club and around the Pacific Northwest to crown an ultimate champion. In order to safely run this competition, Crimson Robotics has created their own combat robotics arena to hold the battles. Over the 3 previous Crimson Bot Brawls, the arena has been home to over 50 different bots. While this arena is very effective for safely containing the carnage of a combat robotics battle, it is in need of upgrades to improve the viewing experience, make fights more exciting, and expand the situations the arena can be used in. These upgrades include: Adding a pit hazard (A pit that bots can push each other into) Structural upgrades (Allowing for higher weight classes to compete) Installing match timers Powder coating the frame (Allowing for outdoor events) Repainting the floor Upgrading tooling (Allowing for quicker and easier assembly) Upgrading the arena in this way is the next step towards evolving and expanding the Crimson Bot Brawl, which brings with it many benefits. More builders and engineers visit Pullman to compete, exposing them to WSU's impressive engineering program. More spectators can see the exciting fights, which has been shown to increase many people's interest in combat robotics and STEM. Finally, an improved event will increase Crimson Robotics' membership count, allowing more students to get hands on and practical engineering experience. This experience leads to success in internship and job applications, and allows members to get the most out of their time at WSU. While these upgrades will offer many benefits, modifying such a large piece of equipment is inherently expensive. In order to keep membership absolutely free for all of our members, Crimson Robotics heavily relies on donors like yourself to help fund its projects. We hope you will consider making a tax deductible donation to help the club continue to work towards its goal of open access to combat robotics.

We are a group of driven athletes striving to practice every week and play our best games every weekend. We do our best to compete in various games and tournaments throughout the semester to win and show our Cougar pride in the world of soccer. With the goal of getting better every semester, we have been able to win the 2023 Washington State Club Soccer League. We also managed to quality and competed in the West Coast Soccer Association Regional Championship Tournament last semester. This year, we are aiming to qualify for the 2024 NIRSA National Tournament in Round Rock, Texas on Nov 21-23. In order to do so, we need to win the 2024 NIRSA Regional Tournament in Oregon State University on Nov 1-3. In order to achieve this goal, we need your help. With two possible away tournaments, we need a lot of help for travel costs. We also run through a lot of our gears through our trainings and away games. Wazzu Racing About Wazzu Racing Wazzu Racing annually represents Washington State University at Formula SAE (FSAE); a collegiate design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers. This competition is based on a formula racecar that students have the opportunity to design and build. By competing, students are challenged to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems which, in turn, bolster their ability to communicate and work in teams. The program is made up of over 40 students from various majors and class standings. As such the leadership roles in the team further demand an ever-improving capacity to manage projects and cross-functional teams. Our Cause This year, Wazzu Racing plans to compete at FSAE Michigan. However, the cost associated with travel, housing for our team, and transportation of the competition vehicle is beyond what we can currently afford. Donations will directly allow our team to showcase all of the hard work, dedication, and time we have spent designing and manufacturing our formula race car. The competition is an engineering education competition that requires performance demonstration of vehicles in a series of events, both off track and on track against the clock. Each competition gives teams the chance to demonstrate their creativity and engineering skills in comparison to teams from other universities around the world. Teams are to assume that they work for an engineering firm that is designing, fabricating, testing, and demonstrating a prototype vehicle. The vehicle should have high performance and be sufficiently durable to successfully complete all the events at the Formula SAE competitions. Each student team design will be judged and evaluated against other competing designs in a series of Static and Dynamic events to determine the vehicle that best meets the design goals, profitably, build, and marketability. The Formula SAE competitions are held in six locations worldwide, including two in the United States. We plan to compete in the Michigan Competition in May of 2025. Last year for the 2024 Competition, it cost us $12,586.13 to compete and travel to Michigan. This cost does not include the money that has to come out of the students pockets for food and Comp jerseys or the cost to build the car. Members of PLPGSO will interact with the speaker over a lunch meeting, two dinner events, a seminar, and one-on-one meetings. The group was created to provide students with outlet to participate in a very important aspect of Mexican culture. Since our creation, we have played at over 18 events in Pullman and Moscow. We even won "Best Small Group" in the 2023 Lentil Parade. Our members can currently join as a club or a one credit arts class. Through our existence we hope to enrich the community culture and promote higher education for Hispanic/Latine students. In line with our goal, we are planning to host an event for high school mariachi students around the state. Students will attend a one day event where they can tour the campus, receive informational workshops, and play their repertoire for other schools. Schools in attendance would be Chiawana, East Wenatchee, Grandview, Pasco, Othello, and Wenatchee. Ultimately, we hope this event will make college more attainable and attractive to these students. Game Development Club is a club dedicated to teaching and supporting video game development at WSU. As a club, we connect through our shared passion for video games and the immense creativity and technical knowledge that goes into them. Game development combines all kinds of creative disciplines to create a single cohesive whole: from artists to programmers, not to mention designers and musicians, game development is truly a culmination of creativity. We hope to get people excited about what they can achieve in this interactive medium through events and club-hosted lessons.To that end, we are thrilled to host the second annual Crimson Game Jam, where students will bring their unique game ideas to life. Simply put, a game jam is an event where participants have to make a video game from start to end in just 48 hours! It's an absolute thrill to participate in: a whirlwind of code, art and dreams, all coming together to craft a finished game. Just like a Hackathon, which is similarly constrained by time, participants learn so much and create so much more than they could have ever imagined. This last January of 2024 we held our first ever Crimson Game Jam, with over 65 participants and a guest speaker who works as the lead game designer for the "Medimon" game project (studio based in Moscow, Idaho). It was a great success, we had a number of fantastically creative games by the end and participants learned so much. We have a showcase reel of all our students' games in the video above, as well as a link at the bottom to play them yourself!For our next event, we'd like to go even bigger and better as we try to build up the area's local game development community. We weren't able to get an in-person venue for the entire first jam, we were only able to get a room for our opening and closing ceremony. However, this year, we hope to rectify that with an abundance of development-sustaining food and plenty of in-person space for brainstorming -- all night long. Our primary goal is to be able to rent out the Spark for the night, just as the ACM Hackathon does. But we can't do it alone – we need your support to make this event a success!By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign, you'll help provide the essential resources, the venue, and the food and snacks to keep our developers fueled and focused. This event was proclaimed by the General Conference of the UN’s Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999 and then welcomed the proclamation of the day in its resolution of 2002. The day is celebrated "to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by peoples of the world.” The day emphasizes in strengthening co-operation and attaining quality education for all, in building inclusive knowledge societies and preserving cultural heritage, and in mobilizing community will for applying the benefits of science and technology to sustainable development. Every year the ABSS at WSU celebrates this day with utmost solemnity. Help the Palouse Aerospace Society get to Spaceport America. Palouse Aerospace Society Palouse Aerospace is WSU Pullman's rocketry and aviation engineering club! Formerly known as AIAA/WSU Aerospace Club, we are ready to embark on a new journey after these past few years since the pandemic. Last June, we had a successful launch and an impressive showing at Spaceport America Cup 2023 - the world's largest rocket engineering competition. Now, we seek to improve on this performance, so support us and help us get to Spaceport America Cup 2024! From paper planes to hydrogen powered drones, Palouse Aerospace offers students the opportunity to get hands-on experience in a wide-ranging discipline. The club currently consists of some 30 driven, undergraduate engineering students with a passion for aerospace. Our goal as a club is to provide WSU students with hands-on engineering experience, giving them a chance to apply classwork and develop skills that they can apply within industry to solve practical, real-world problems. HISTORY Founded in 1995, we first established ourselves as a student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Initially competing in the AIAA’s Design, Build, Fly airplane engineering competition. Around 2014 we began our foray into rocketry. We now regularly attend the Spaceport America Cup - the world’s largest rocket engineering competition. We’re also committed to research projects in cooperation with various on-campus research laboratories and industry partners. With the more recent adoption of our new name and logo comes the beginning of a new era. Having an established, rich, history we feel it is now appropriate for our organization to tackle more ambitious goals and projects. Our objective for 2023 - 2024 is to lay the framework for our club to succeed as it elects to take on these exciting, new challenges. As such, we expect to see a mass increase in club membership in the next few years. We have already restructured our leadership and organizational policies to best suit our ambitions. We’ll achieve these objectives through developing a robust curriculum and knowledge base for future cohorts of our club to rapidly learn from, so that members are able to contribute to projects earlier in their studies. Most crucial to our objective, we seek to establish new partnerships to help support these efforts. This is, truly, a pivotal moment in the history of our club and we hope to see you come along for the journey! CURRENT PROJECTS At Palouse Aerospace, students have the opportunity to see their projects evolve through the entire engineering design process. All students are encouraged to participate throughout every phase including design, manufacturing, testing, and iteration. Currently under development by the Plane Team is a multipurpose Cargo Plane! The goal for the cargo plane project is to carry a payload of up to 10 pounds to altitudes of 400 ft. This project is for learning composite construction techniques and general model aircraft skills. The dual fuselage under the wing center makes for a lightweight plane capable of carrying cargo with odd geometries. The wing, tail, and boom were completed at the end of the Spring 2023 semester. This semester the team molded the fuselages, assembled the airplane, and installed the motors. Next up is wiring, landing gear, and the flight controller setup before the maiden flight. Palouse Aerospace regularly competes at Spaceport America Cup - the world’s largest rocket engineering competition. Rocket team members have the opportunity to represent Washington State University and compete against some of the world’s best universities. The competition is held annually in the New Mexico desert at the Spaceport America Vertical Launch Site. Nearly 6,000 students from across 24 different countries participated in the 2023 competition. Our rocket Crimson Arrow is the result of several months’ work and performed spectacularly, reaching an altitude of 8,200 feet AGL and flawless performance of all subsystems. Our preparedness led to a successful recovery with no damage to the airframe and resulted in a spectacular first appearance as Palouse Aerospace! WSU Formula Racing About Wazzu Racing Wazzu Racing annually represents Washington State University at Formula SAE (FSAE); a collegiate design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers. This competition is based on a formula racecar that students have the opportunity to design and build. By competing, students are challenged to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems which, in turn, bolster their ability to communicate and work in teams. The program is made up of over 35 students from various majors and class standings. As such the leadership roles in the team further demand an ever-improving capacity to manage projects and cross-functional teams. Our Cause This year, Wazzu Racing plans to compete at FSAE Michigan. However, the cost associated with travel, housing for our team, and transportation of the competition vehicle is beyond what we can currently afford. Donations will directly allow our team to showcase all of the hard work, dedication, and time we have spent designing and manufacturing our formula race car. The Formula SAE competitions challenge teams of university undergraduate and graduate students to conceive, design, fabricate, develop and compete with small, formula-style vehicles. The competition is an engineering education competition that requires performance demonstration of vehicles in a series of events, both off track and on track against the clock. Each competition gives teams the chance to demonstrate their creativity and engineering skills in comparison to teams from other universities around the world. Teams are to assume that they work for an engineering firm that is designing, fabricating, testing, and demonstrating a prototype vehicle. The vehicle should have high performance and be sufficiently durable to successfully complete all the events at the Formula SAE competitions. Each student team design will be judged and evaluated against other competing designs in a series of Static and Dynamic events to determine the vehicle that best meets the design goals, profitably, build, and marketability. The Formula SAE competitions are held in six locations worldwide, including two in the United States. We plan to compete in the Michigan Competition in May of 2024. Help the French Club keep their student food pantry stocked. French Club The French Club at Washington State University has been an active RSO for the past three years. We are a cultural-based club, meaning our events do not require anybody to speak French. Rather, we want to showcase French and Francophone culture through fun, hands-on activities. That being said food is an important part of French culture. We provide food (desserts, cheese, charcuterie, etc.) at our events to honor traditions that are close to the hearts of many French folks. Last year Adam Atalig, an officer of the French Club, decided to open up the food pantry with help from other officers and our advisor at the time, Prof. Mark Black. After witnessing food insecurity himself, Adam wanted to create a space where students could access food and not worry about where they were going to get their next meal. Approximately 50% of students have experienced food insecurity during their time in college. That number is unacceptable, and we want to change that. Without our basic needs being met it is difficult to focus on anything else, such as academics. We are asking for your gift so that students will get what they need to thrive in college, not just survive. Help the Archery Club buy new targets and equipment. Archery Club Since our founding in 2017, we have been using the same target bales. These bales have been exposed to the elements which has caused their lifespan to shorten more than expected. Our target bales provide us the ability to practice archery in the first place, we couldn't be here without them. We have a team of officers and range masters who constantly maintain the club equipment and maintain the bales themselves. We have spent a lot of time and effort perfecting the club and making sure every member uses safe and reliable equipment. We have updated the cores of the bales before, but now we are seeing a degradation of the supporting structures of the bales themselves. The art of archery is very important to improving hand eye coordination, practicing hand steadiness, increasing patience, and practice your ability to focus. To be able to help bring awareness to this art we appreciate all donations. We are only funded through members and donations. We plan on keeping this club around for another 10 years, and the new bales would last around that timespan. Our goal currently will cover one bale to be replaced, which would significantly take off the burden for the club to find the rest of the funds. We currently have 3 bales to be replaced. All donations will be used towards continuing the goal of our club and providing a friendly and welcoming environment for WSU students and faculty to learn and practice the art of archery!

VAW Who We Are Our student-based club collaborates with Volunteers Around the World to work as interns in low- and middle-income countries internationally to host free veterinary care clinics, assist local animal shelters, and provide information sessions about animal care to locals. Being able to develop veterinary skills as an undergrad is a very important step to being able to become a doctor. VAW allows students to travel to marginalized countries to better understand global health, help develop the community health systems in-country by working with local health professionals, and learn what it means to support global health worldwide by working as a veterinarian. Why We Need You Our upcoming outreach trip to Peru is an opportunity that we want to make more accessible to all students, regardless of their financial background. International travel can be a huge financial burden that we aim to lessen. Our trip fees go toward the medical supplies we will use, travel, and in-country costs. Our club does intensive fundraising in an effort to bring down the costs of our trips so that more students have the ability to join us. Through many different projects, collaborations, and weekly meetings, our community-based club works towards spreading the culture from our home to the new place we call home, Pullman. Our club is non-exclusionary, but mainly focuses on catering towards those from Hawai'i and those who want to learn about the cultural practices of Hawai'i. The biggest way we celebrate and share our experiences is through Ho'Ike, which is our annual event that is similar to what many would consider a luau. The entirety of this event is based on important aspects to our culture, such as song, dance, food, and language. Support Crimson Robotics on the road to BattleBots in Las Vegas, Nevada. Crimson Robotics Crimson Robotics is WSU's official combat robotics club. We design, build, and compete with robots ranging from 3 to 250 pounds that are designed to destroy other combat robots. Our new 250 pound design "PainSaw" has been completed, and all that's left to do is manufacture and fight with it! In early 2024, we will compete with PainSaw in the BattleBots Proving Grounds competition in Las Vegas, with the goal of being accepted onto the hit discovery TV show BattleBots. PainSaw fights by demolishing other robots with a 50 pound steel vertical spinner rotating at 10,000 rpm. This spinner is attached to the end of a titanium arm that can swing the weapon down on an opponent in a literal blink of an eye. All of that sits on top of an armored chassis capable of breaking the speed limit on residential roads. PainSaw is a force to be reckoned with in the BattleBox! While experiencing the mechanical mayhem of a BattleBots match is an incredible experience, there is more than just fun for Crimson Robotics members to gain! Our team members get invaluable real world engineering experience as well as building their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Each member gets to apply what they learn from their classes in realistic scenarios, which helps solidify and expand their understanding of engineering. From computer aided design, to electrical systems, to manufacturing, and much more, Crimson Robotics gives all 75 of our members the opportunity to grow as engineers and people. Our members have worked incredibly hard to create PainSaw. Transforming what started as some sketches on a whiteboard into a completed design is no easy feat. But to fight with it, it first has to be built. PainSaw is estimated to cost $18,000 without accounting for spare parts. Your donation will go directly towards the manufacturing of PainSaw, allowing Crimson Robotics to compete with it in Las Vegas.

There are 112 NSAC teams across the country split across 15 districts competing for 8 spots at the national competition. Who is WSU NSAC? Our chapter is working directly with the local community to understand their needs and provide a solution to their problem. Who We Are The Wazzu Everett Engineering Club is a student-run organization focused on putting engineering knowledge into practice and developing experience through hands-on projects. The club includes three sub-teams: Mars Rover Team Rocket Team Wind Energy Team While each sub-team has a faculty advisor, students are ultimately responsible for everything from the design process, project construction, securing funds, choosing and applying for competitions, purchasing materials, and booking hotels/flights/rental cars, among other things. The experience students gain from participating in these teams not only improves engineering skills, it also demands student ownership of the entire engineering process. This is the kind of experience that results in the highest caliber of preparedness for a career in all engineering disciplines. What we do This year, each of our subteams are competing in national competitions. The Rocket Team has been selected to compete in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative, the Mars Rover Team is competing in the University Rover Challenge, and the Wind Energy Team is competing in the Collegiate Wind Competition. Each team is designing and building a competition rocket, Mars rover, and wind energy turbine, with many other specific sub-tasks and challenges that are built into each competition. Why We Need Your Help Our Engineering Club has a very detailed budget for each subteam, which accounts for materials, components, tools, and necessary license/certification fees. The biggest expense our subteams need help covering is travel expenses. After putting in hundreds of cumulative hours towards each project, it would be a shame for only a select few team members to be able to go to the competitions. Each competition is in a different state, and flights and hotels add up quickly, even when staying at the cheapest places possible. Please help us reach our modest fundraising goals so that we can bring every team member to competition that has put in a serious amount of work this academic year. About the Gun Club at WSU The Gun Club at WSU is a space for people to come and share their passions. We offer a safe, friendly space for people of all experience levels and walks of life to come and see what we enjoy about firearms. We host events focused on training, sportsmanship, and fun. We are not a political club. Our Discord currently has well over 200 members and is growing daily. Our Discord is open to the general community as a resource, not just students. We regularly have new shooters and new firearm owners attend our range days and come to learn from our more experienced members and our Range Safety Officers. What We Hope To Fund Your donation will be used to help fund the expansion of our training options. Firstly, we need additional and improved equipment available for people wanting to take classes. Hearing and eye protection are an absolute necessity for everyone on the range, and currently most of our members bring their own and spares are limited. In-line with safety, the club will also need to renew our range insurance this coming semester. Our next most significant cost is training for additional Range Safety Officers, as our club is growing at a rapid pace. Training these individuals properly will also allow them to host beginner classes for the students and our surrounding community. More advanced courses also come with higher costs to hire instructors and buy the proper equipment.As a stretch goal, we would like to fund equipment that would allow us to run competitions such as USPSA, Steel Challenge, Long Range Shooting, and more. Help the WSU Water Resources Club clean up Dry Fork Creek as students and community members pick up litter that is collecting in the stream. Keep Pullman clean! Who are we? The Washington State University Water Resources Club explores the different fields that deal with issues around water and exposes students to opportunities to help the community and further pursue their passion for water-based problems. We welcome all students under VCEA, Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, as well as environmental and other majors interested in water issues! What are we doing? Over the course of the next three years, WRC is participating in the Adopt-A-Stream campaign to clean up the Dry Fork Creek along South Grand Avenue from Fairmont Rd. Students, members of WRC, and community members will join together to clean up the litter that is being collected alongside the stream and inside. A major part of our club is community service, and this clean-up will be the foundation. The stream will be cleaned up four times annually, scheduled in August, October, February, and April. There is no fee to clean the stream or for any rental equipment we would be using! This will be an engaging routine management of a local stream where WSU students and community members clean up an aspect of our environment that is truly warranted, give back to their community, and meet new people who have the same interest in helping clean our environment. We hope to fundraise the money we need in order to provide no fees for any students and to ensure that we have all the equipment paid for. No matter if students go on to become the next astronauts, space industry entrepreneurs, clean-energy revolutionaries, or simply engineers of other terrestrial needs, it is this club's goal to strive to always be learning, to take full advantage of this special time in history, and to roll up our sleeves and get down to work when necessary. Our Inspiration Entering the workshop, you join in the fun, and get to witness the hive of activity of students moving in and out between classes, filling their spare moments with swift and urgent work at various projects. One minute you could be having a conversation about the efficiency difference of various propeller cambers in the Wind Energy Team's design, then brainstorm a launch lug mounting system on a rocket, and transition again to collaborating on the 3D design of a bracket that is minutes later prototyped and laser cut from wood, test fit, edited and cut again for final use. If it sounds like we have it pretty good here, that's the truth! It is our hope and goal to sustainably deepen and continue this experience for our students, setting them out into the world ready to be hands-on leaders in their respective fields, while drawing in an ever-improving cohort of talented STEM youth to benefit from the learn-by-doing creed. What We Do WSU Everett Engineering Club has under its umbrella three teams currently. This campaign is centered on progressing the efforts of the two space-themed teams under the club: Rocket and Rover. Wind Energy is somewhat set apart in that they have already secured funding, but are with us in spirit! Mars Rover: In 2016 a group of students went to the University Rover Challenge in the Utah desert and took 2nd place among 30 international teams! Since then, a complete rework and new rover design have begun. Although development was steady, COVID stalled out the progress of the build. That is until the 2021 group of students came back to campus in person with hustle and gusto, quickly accelerating the design/build cadence and preparing for our first entry into competition since the stellar performance six long years ago. This means that higher than normal costs are now anticipated. Between all the materials to go from prototype to final build, coupled with a reasonable and modest budget for travel, lodging, and Rover transport to the desert this summer, and most recently - even replacing a burned up central computer, your donation will help ensure our efforts are not stillborn but rather wondrous in pride they bring to the Cougar community! Rocket Team: The rocket team aims to advance as many of its members through the certification levels of the National Association of Rocketry and prepare for an outstanding first entrance into the competition next school year. To achieve level 1-3 certification, many rockets will have to be built (and possibly lost/exploded) in the next year before we can nail down everything from launch systems, recovery systems, flight computers and control, GPS tracking, apogee targeting, effective modeling of flight paths, designing efficient component parts like fins and nose cones. It is rocket science after all! Having just gone for L1 certifications by quickly building high-powered rocket kits, the team has learned a lot and will be quickly preparing for level 2 launches this Spring of 2022 while beginning design and component testing of the competition rocket for next school year! Enhance student interest in pharmacy & medicine by providing an opportunity for students to develop their problem-solving and innovation skills. Washington State University’s American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) chapter is partnering with local Spokane Public Schools to create the first annual Cougar Rx Innovation Challenge. The goal of this project is to enhance student interest in pharmacy and medicine by providing an opportunity for students to develop their problem solving and innovation skills by addressing a community health need. Participating middle and high school students will partner with student pharmacists to investigate and innovatively solve a public health need in their community. Some topic examples include access to care, depression/anxiety, substance use disorders, immunizations, wellness, prescription and over the counter medications, and poison/overdose prevention. Groups will meet every two weeks between February and May to collaborate and complete their project. Requirements for this innovation challenge include an essay paper outlining the chosen topic/problem and solution, a visual outlining their project, one material to engage the community and distribute the idea (brochure, infographic, webpage, etc.), and a reflection essay. A panelist of judges will review all participating groups and select winners based on their presentation, level of effort and overall contribution to the community. By donating today, you are encouraging and helping support adolescents pursue a monetary prize that is directly donated to their school’s STEM program. All student participants will gain clinical, research, and critical thinking skills by working in small ratio teams to solve their innovation challenge. WSU-MANRRS, or Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, is a student-led organization that works to "promote academic and professional advancement by uplifting and empowering minorities within the WSU College of Agriculture, Human, and Natural Resources Science (CAHNRS). Fundraising Project After a year of virtual events, the MANRRS National Conference will be held in person this year on March 23-26, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. Our goal is to hopefully send two MANRRS members to the MANRRS National Conference. The conference will greatly benefit the members who attend the conference as it provides educational training sessions, inspiring speakers, and career opportunities. It also gives members the opportunity to network with companies and the chance to compete in professional competitions, such as National Public Speaking and Business Pitch Contest. Help fund the 13th annual Kids’ Science and Engineering Day (KSED), an educational carnival-style event focused on hands-on academic activities. Who we are: The Washington State University Society of Women Engineers is dedicated to encouraging women to pursue engineering and STEM based fields, creating an inclusive environment for learning, and engaging with our community to share our passion for STEM. At WSU, we are focused on recruitment, retention, and service. We welcome women from the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture (VCEA) as well as math and science majors. Men are welcome to join our group and support their classmates and fellow future engineers. What we are doing: In the spring of 2022, we are hosting our 13th annual Kids’ Science and Engineering Day (KSED). KSED is a carnival-style event where elementary students ages K-5 can learn about basic science and engineering principles through fun, hands-on activities. It is important to us to promote interest in STEM at a young age, as many of us discovered our love for STEM during this formative time. We have a small charge for admission but aim to keep this event as inclusive as possible, so every student has an opportunity to explore STEM. Every student receives a T-shirt and goodie bag with more activities to do at home! We partner with other organizations across WSU to provide engaging activities to teach science and engineering outside the classroom. In 2020, we had 300 WSU student volunteers and over 250 elementary students registered for KSED and we hope to continue to impact so many members of our community. KSED is returning as an in-person event, and we do not want anyone to miss out! We are revisiting the theme “Dive into the Unknown!” In previous years, we have been unable to provide financial aid the organizations that volunteer to run a booth at this event. This year we hope to fundraise to ensure that finances will not restrict participation from new and returning partners post-Covid. Who we are: We are a cross-disciplinary student-run combat robotics club. We are building a 250 lb. combat robot to compete on the popular Discovery Channel TV show BattleBots. We want to represent WSU on the global stage. Each BattleBots episode is routinely viewed by several million people in 150 countries. In 2020, our robot, PainSaw, was accepted to compete on BattleBots. This made WSU one of the few undergraduate teams to ever be accepted on the show. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the 2020 Season of BattleBots due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our aim is to compete in the 2022 season of BattleBots. What we need: Competing on BattleBots is expensive. We are looking for financial support, tool donations, engineering services, and transportation services that will help us support further development, manufacturing, and competition costs for the 2022 season of BattleBots.

The WSU 3D printing club is dedicated to improving the design and manufacturing skills of our members through projects, workshops, and practical experience. We strive to make our meetings fun and entertaining while promoting conversation and discovery. If you're always up for learning something new, this might be the place for you! Currently, our club is working on two projects, the silicone printing project, and the water bottle printing project. Both projects involve designing, building, and prototyping 3D printers to perform relevant tasks. Throughout the semester our club also hosts game nights, fundraisers, and 3D modeling workshops. We are asking for funds in order to buy a new club printer that is more reliable for printing parts for our club projects and members. This is very helpful for us so that we can continue to allow free printing for our club members on a good printer, and reliably print parts for our projects.

Within the club, we have Plane Team, which is currently working on a cargo plane to assist the Rocket Team on their testing. The Rocket Team is currently focused on getting several members certified through the National Association of Rocketry so they have the proper clearance to launch models and compete in Spaceport America Cup, currently they are planning on going to the 2023 competition. As a student-run, student-led club, we also help members learn material they wouldn’t learn in class. For example, we help students with more specific CAD applications such as fluid simulations, along with general concepts of aerodynamic design, flight physics, control systems, and more. WSU doesn't have an Aerospace Engineering degree or program, so for many students joining our club is the closest they can get to that kind of education and experience. WSU Aerospace club heavily depends on donations, fundraisers, and sponsorships to be able to do any building, designing, or competing. The main reason we currently need funding is for the rocket group to get certifications and funding for travel expenses. It’s expensive to get people to the certification levels that we need, but absolutely critical to the club being able to continue. Additionally, the costs of actually attending competitions add up quickly, even when we save where we can. Cougs in Space is Washington State University's first Cube Satellite club. Our mission is to launch our satellite, CougSat I, into space by October 2022. We have students from all different majors and backgrounds that work on our eight teams. A core mission of our club is to train better engineers who know how to communicate and work with a large and diverse team to achieve a common goal, and to connect our members with internship and networking opportunities to further their potential career options after college. What's our Mission? To launch! We are close to completing CougSat-I and we are so excited to launch! There are still a few parts that we need to be ordered to complete our satellite to prepare for launch. Our newest team members are already starting on our second satellite, CougSat-II. Our new expected launch year is 2022! We're so excited to be one step closer to space! What does our logo stand for? WSU Alumni Evie Caldwell created our iconic Cougs in Space logo. The dots and dashes around our logo represent Washington State University in Morse Code. Pharmacists for Reproductive Education and Sexual Health (PhRESH) is a committee led by pharmacy students within our Washington State Pharmacy Association chapter at WSU Spokane. Our mission is to educate on contraceptive resources available within the Eastern Washington community. Over the past year, we have delivered both in-person and virtual presentations regarding contraceptive access and care both in the Spokane and Pullman communities. Through quality improvement surveys, we have identified that the resources available in these communities are not well known or utilized and that there are several barriers facing these communities in accessing contraceptive care. A large barrier we have identified was financial, especially with regard to emergency contraceptives. As a committee dedicated to increasing contraceptive accessibility within our community, our goal is to host an emergency contraceptive (EC) drive where we can offer free ECs and pamphlets which include resources for financial assistance and follow-up care. Since we have identified Pullman's resources are especially underutilized, we would like to conduct our first drive at WSU Pullman during the move-in week and fall family weekend, which will help students become oriented with their healthcare resources from the very beginning of their stay in Pullman. Who we are The Clinical Psychology Graduate Student Organization (CPGSO) works to uphold the 3 pillars of our mission: Service, Giving, and Growth. We do this through community outreach, philanthropy, and by providing professional and personal development initiatives to our members– the graduate students in the Clinical Psychology program at WSU. What we need We are in a unique position as graduate students in the psychology department; not only are we students at WSU, but we are also therapists to and conduct assessment for students, staff, and community members. In addition to our roles as therapists, graduate students in our department serve as instructors, mentors, and researchers. From these positions we exert unique influence on the student body and broader WSU community. Among the competencies that are essential for our ability to support the WSU community, is a firm foundational knowledge of issues related to diversity, equity, and anti-racism. While these are topics incorporated into our coursework, now more than ever, we are seeing how essential it is that people in positions of influence go the extra mile in establishing habits, mentalities, and systems that disrupt racial inequity. Palouse RoboSub is a Washington State University engineering club that develops Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV). We consist of undergraduate students across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science disciplines who share a common interest in robotics. Our main goal is to represent WSU in the international RoboNation AUV competition, held annually at TRANSDEC in San Diego. In addition, the club aims to provide hands-on learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom for WSU students. Palouse RoboSub relies on sponsorship to overcome the costs of new hardware, materials, testing sessions and competition travel. Before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our ASHP-Yakima student society chapter hosted monthly health fair events at three long-term care facilities in the Yakima area. These events were an opportunity for pharmacy students to help elderly community members while practicing counseling and clinical skills including blood pressure screening, blood glucose monitoring, and comprehensive medication therapy management. The pandemic has made it unsafe for student pharmacists to visit and assist our senior residents in person. To solve this problem, our student society chapter has developed educational videos to engage the residents and reading materials focusing on many common disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, and will be providing them an opportunity to interact with the students virtually. These videos were created with the specific population in mind and will be informative but easy to follow. We plan to deliver the media to facility residents via mobile devices such as iPads, tablets, or smartphones. By doing so we eliminate the risk of novel coronavirus exposure to facility residents and staff while still providing them health education resources. Since not all residents have access to mobile devices, we are hoping to fundraise to purchase tablet devices to distribute to our partnered retirement homes. These devices will be available for residents to borrow and use to view our educational media. The money will also help us provide cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment to make sure that the devices are clean and safe to use. With your donation, we can continue to provide the same level of care and support to the Yakima senior residents as we have in the past.

Students Advocating for the Rights of Sexual Assault Survivors, also known as StARSS, is a group of four pharmacy students founded through the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA). StARSS’s mission is to educate future healthcare workers about sexual violence prevention and to make resources accessible to the WSU and greater Spokane community. In partnership with Lutheran Community Services (LCS), the goal of StARSS is to be the main source of distribution of clothing kits for the advocates who work with LCS. When a victim of sexual assault arrives to a hospital requesting a forensic exam, all of their clothes are surrendered as evidence. The purpose of these clothing kits is to restore dignity within each survivor. Your generous donations will fund these clothing kits and will ensure that each sexual assault patient is able to leave the hospital with a fresh set of clothes, rather than in hospital scrubs. We are fundraising to purchase HP stream laptops that our veterans can check out for free through a contactless pickup run by our veteran center. The Veteran Center located at WSU Tri-Cities has provided a place for student veterans to gather and discuss issues we face after leaving the service. It also provides the 67 student veterans access to technology for research and completion of homework. However, since COVID-19 has shaken things up we have not been able to access the Veteran Center or its tech, leaving many student veterans to find alternative ways to access their support community and technology requirements for completing schoolwork and attending class. While the majority of student veterans have access to their own technology, 6% of student veterans polled relied on the Veteran center and other on-campus amenities for technology access. Those students are now struggling to afford or find reliable access to these valuable resources. Of the polled student veterans, 12% have had their technology fail in the last year. Some of these student veterans are only in need of access during periods when their current computers fail before they can afford to buy a new one. While the majority of student veterans have personal laptops, 3% of student veterans reported their laptops did not have built-in webcams or mics, which is now a requirement in order to participate in our virtual classrooms. The Patriots Club, our on-campus WSU Tri-Cities veteran advocacy group, is asking our community for support. We are fundraising to purchase HP stream laptops that our veterans can check out for free through a contactless pickup run by our veteran center. With any additional funds left over, we will be purchasing headsets and webcams to help our veterans whose computers do not have them built-in. Once the pandemic is over and the student veterans are able to return to campus, this technology will continue to have a great impact on our student veterans by allowing them to work on schoolwork off-campus as well as being able to take said tech into their classrooms and be more successful students. The purpose of the HOSA organization is to promote leadership and career skills in health care professions by allowing members to obtain hands-on experience in a competitive and academic environment. Members of the organization have the opportunity to compete in dozens of various healthcare related events (such as CPR, pharmaceutical sciences, medical terminology, etc) at the state and international level. It is the goal of WSU HOSA to get a small number of our members to the International Leadership Conference (ILC) where they will then compete against teams from China, Puerto Rico, Spain, and more. The ILC consists of thousands of HOSA members that are given opportunities to compete in events, attend workshops hosted by health professionals, attend career fairs, and meet future health professionals from around the globe! The location of the event alternates between Orlando Florida, and Houston Texas. To give WSU HOSA time to raise funds, our goal is to attend the 2022 ILC in June, Orlando Florida. In order to compete at the ILC, HOSA members must first qualify at the State Leadership Conference (SLC). Fortunately, there is only one other Washington State team, and that is the UW HOSA team. This means that our HOSA members will be automatic qualifiers for the ILC. We want to get our members to the ILC so that WSU is represented at the international level as well! The only thing standing between WSU and a spot at the ILC is the financial burden of attending. In order to compete, WSU HOSA members will need to pay the registration fee (roughly 100$), food, hotel, and possibly uniforms. We are fortunate enough to have our airline fees paid for, but we need support to cover the rest of the expenses.
