Who we are:
We are a cross-disciplinary student-run combat robotics club. We are building a 250 lb. combat robot to compete on the popular Discovery Channel TV show BattleBots. We want to represent WSU on the global stage. Each BattleBots episode is routinely viewed by several million people in 150 countries. In 2020, our robot, PainSaw, was accepted to compete on BattleBots. This made WSU one of the few undergraduate teams to ever be accepted on the show. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the 2020 Season of BattleBots due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our aim is to compete in the 2022 season of BattleBots.
What we need:
Competing on BattleBots is expensive. We are looking for financial support, tool donations, engineering services, and transportation services that will help us support further development, manufacturing, and competition costs for the 2022 season of BattleBots.
To making giant robots you need a ton of itty bitty parts. Your donation will helps us buy essentials like nuts, bolts, bushings, drill bits, chainsaws and what-nots!
We use a flamethrower to decimate our opponents. We'd like to do that in style! You donations goes towards making PainSaw look smashing!
Your donation is making our opponents cower. You're equipping the team to buy powertools and safety equipment
These donations will help with purchasing some of our more expensive items such as large gearboxes and big chains
