What is WSU-MANRRS?
WSU-MANRRS, or Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, is a student-led organization that works to "promote academic and professional advancement by uplifting and empowering minorities within the WSU College of Agriculture, Human, and Natural Resources Science (CAHNRS).
Fundraising Project
After a year of virtual events, the MANRRS National Conference will be held in person this year on March 23-26, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. Our goal is to hopefully send two MANRRS members to the MANRRS National Conference. The conference will greatly benefit the members who attend the conference as it provides educational training sessions, inspiring speakers, and career opportunities. It also gives members the opportunity to network with companies and the chance to compete in professional competitions, such as National Public Speaking and Business Pitch Contest.
Not only will this benefit the members that attend the conference, but also the chapter as well. With their experience and knowledge gained from the conference, they will be able to share their experience and inspire other members to attend the MARRS National Conference in the future.
It's always the tiniest thing that people take for granted. Any contribution to our goal is meaningful and does not go unnoticed.
We are appreciative of your contribution to our goal. This is the cost for MANRRS National Conference. Your contribution will help offset the costs that our members will have to pay.
Funding to send two members who have never attended MANRRS National Conference is a noteworthy goal that WSU-MANRRS hopes to achieve for this year. A donation of this amount will help cover travel expenses, such as car rentals and unexpected expenses that may occur.
The two MANRRS members will receive a remarkable experience that can be described as a once-in-a-lifetime experience during their college experience. A donation of this amount would be used to cover the hotel costs.
Every donation that is made, no matter the amount, will be recognized by the WSU-MANRRS Executive Team and members for their contribution. This amount will help cover flight costs to Jacksonville, Florida.
A contribution of this amount is greatly appreciated. It would be sensational to see our two WSU-MANRRS members attend the MANRRS National Conference without having to pay as much. We want our members to be able to attend the conference stress-free about the cost/expenses and see them take the opportunity and experience what the MANRRS National Conference is like in person. This amount will mostly cover flight costs and possibly send another member to attend the National Conference as well.
