About the Gun Club at WSU
The Gun Club at WSU is a space for people to come and share their passions. We offer a safe, friendly space for people of all experience levels and walks of life to come and see what we enjoy about firearms. We host events focused on training, sportsmanship, and fun. We are not a political club. Our Discord currently has well over 200 members and is growing daily. Our Discord is open to the general community as a resource, not just students. We regularly have new shooters and new firearm owners attend our range days and come to learn from our more experienced members and our Range Safety Officers.
What We Hope To Fund
Your donation will be used to help fund the expansion of our training options. Firstly, we need additional and improved equipment available for people wanting to take classes. Hearing and eye protection are an absolute necessity for everyone on the range, and currently most of our members bring their own and spares are limited. In-line with safety, the club will also need to renew our range insurance this coming semester. Our next most significant cost is training for additional Range Safety Officers, as our club is growing at a rapid pace. Training these individuals properly will also allow them to host beginner classes for the students and our surrounding community. More advanced courses also come with higher costs to hire instructors and buy the proper equipment.
As a stretch goal, we would like to fund equipment that would allow us to run competitions such as USPSA, Steel Challenge, Long Range Shooting, and more.
With your donation, we will grow our club and help to train many more students and community members about safe and effective firearm usage.

You're donating the value of a large steel challenge target set! This includes the stand, target, and licensing costs.
You're donating the value of a year of range insurance! Thank you! This is a safety-operations cost that we must pay to continue to use the private range near Pullman.
