WSU Everett Engineering Club - A Place Where Students Create

About Us:

The WSU Everett Engineering Club focuses on initiatives that foster growth and impact our local communities. Software, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students collaborate and compete at the national level to bring recognition to the WSU family.

What we need:

Our organization is focused on providing hands on experience for our students while addressing issues that exist in the automobile, renewable energy, and space industries. Your generous contribution is an investment that allows our members to travel to and succeed in these competitions!

Engineering Competition Projects:

Each project has a team of dedicated students to meet the challenge of each respective competition:

  • Baja SEA Competition (Baja Team)
  • University Rover Challenge (Mars Rover Team)
  • NASA University Student Launch Initiative (Rocket Team)
  • Collegiate Wind Competition (Wind Energy Team)

The Baja Team is dedicated towards designing and building an off-road vehicle that can survive harsh terrain. Giving the team real world experience before going into the automotive industry.

The Mars Rover Team is building a Mars rover capable of navigating Mars like terrain (simulated in Utah), detecting life on planets, and assisting astronauts out in the field.

The Rocket Team is on a mission to build a launch vehicle capable of launching and retrieving four (miniature) astronauts safely.

The Wind Energy Team is dedicated to building a wind turbine that generates clean efficient energy. Preparing members with the necessary experience to enter the renewable energy sector.

Your gift to the WSU Everett Engineering Club is an investment that impacts all our projects and the professional development of our student engineers.

$15

Materials

This gift pays for our materials i.e. screws, bolts. In all of our projects these tiny components are the most important. This would allow our Mars Rover team successfully traverse the desert.

$25

Food

This gift pays for one student's meal as they travel to finals or test locations! This keeps our students fueled and ready to launch their rockets.

$50

Prototype Fund

Our students need to create protypes to be able to compete at the national level. Prototypes increases the likelihood that our projects will be successful in their current mission. Your gift helps us move one step closer to our final designs!

$100

Travel for Students

We have 30 students competing this year in Utah, Tennessee, Alabama, and Oregon. Your gift provides a goodnights rest & makes the difference in our ability to perform.
