SOLES (Student Organization for Learning, Empowerment, and Success) is dedicated to enhancing the college experience for our students by offering a range of opportunities and resources. Our vision is to empower our students during their academic journey, helping them thrive in a competitive and challenging environment. One of our exciting initiatives is the creation of a 'Rage Room,' a unique space designed to help students alleviate stress during midterm and final exam periods. This space will be a safe and controlled environment where students can vent their frustrations and unwind, promoting mental well-being and improved academic performance. The 'Rage Room' will be equipped with materials and equipment tailored for stress relief, providing an effective outlet for our students. Furthermore, SOLES organizes networking dinners and workshops, focusing on essential skills such as etiquette and elevator pitches. Students will learn valuable professional skills through these events, enabling them to excel in academic and career settings. We aim to provide a supportive environment where students can refine their abilities and build a strong foundation for future success. In addition to these initiatives, we are committed to bringing inspiring speakers with similar backgrounds to our students. These role models will demonstrate that overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals is possible. Their stories will motivate, reinforcing the belief that our students can accomplish their aspirations. By supporting our fundraising efforts for the 'Rage Room,' you directly impact our members' well-being, academic performance, and the broader Cougar community.
