The WSU Everett branch of the Association for Computing Machinery is a student-run chapter of ACM. Our goal is to connect and support students from various branches of technical fields through the club and to nurture an interest in coding and general machinery (as you can imagine from the name).
Annually, we host a Hackathon on our campus (in tandem with WSU Pullman) where students from all majors are encouraged to participate under a general theme. Student submissions for this Hackathon include both purely digital entries and entries that involve physical components to operate. The general idea is to get a wide range of students actively participating in the Hackathon and to provide students in technological fields with a springboard for their own personal projects.
Much like binary, nothing can be done without some base-level 1s and 0s. You've gone above and beyond to support us and have provided a solid foundation for our Hackathon.
Thank you for your support! From binary to C, you've officially progressed from the basics to a solid, low level language.
Doubled from the last tier, your support is now on par with C++, a more dynamic version of the previous tier, and a hefty donation for our event!
From C++ to Java you are now providing a large amount of object-oriented funding for the Hackathon. Thank you!
Wow! Just wow! This is an impressive amount to donate to our club and no longer has a corresponding language. You have surpassed the general ranking of low to high level languages and are now a major funder of our Hackathon!
