About Us:
The WSU Tri-cities Society of Women Engineers exists to support and empower women as they pursue careers in engineering while also providing them with a sense of community on campus. At WSUTC, our goal is to create an environment where students can support each other, and network with fellow classmates and engineering professionals.
Fundraising Project:
Every year the Society of Women Engineers hosts the worlds largest conference for women in engineering and technology. This annual conference welcomes students and professionals from all around the globe. Participants will have the opportunity to network, gain career insights, and connect with industry leaders while also exploring different careers. This year, WE24 will be held in Chicago, Illinois from October 24-26, 2024. Our goal is to send 4 female students majoring in engineering, to the WE24 conference. The conference will greatly benefit our members as they will have the opportunity to attend interactive workshops, hear from inspiring speakers, and connect with industry leaders. They will also have the opportunity to attend a career fair and connect with hundreds of organizations that are committed to advancing women in STEM.
Your support will have an immense impact and will contribute to the growth and professional development of our students. With their experience, the conference attendees will be able to share their experience and inspire other women pursuing STEM fields. STEM is a space for all, and with your help we will be able to support the next generation of STEM professionals. Thank you and go COUGS!
