The Pre-Health Club, founded in 2020, emerged from a group of students eager to pursue careers in healthcare. Sparked by a shared passion for medicine, biology, and patient care, the club provided a supportive space for students to explore various health-related professions. Today, the Pre-Health Club continues to thrive, offering workshops, guest speakers, and volunteer opportunities for students passionate about healthcare.
Objective:
Our Pre-Health Club is organizing a fundraising campaign to visit the prestigious WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane. This tour is a valuable opportunity for members to gain insight into medical school life, learn about admissions processes, and network with current medical students and faculty.
The primary goal of the fundraising effort is to cover transportation, food, and other expenses associated with the tour, ensuring that all interested members can participate regardless of financial background. The visit will help club members solidify their medical school goals, better understand the rigors of medical education, and prepare for future applications.
