The WSU's Women's Rugby creates an environment of family and success, winning multiple different awards in the seasons past. COVID-19 prevented us from growing and with that, we lost almost all of our players in the 2021-2022 season, leaving the president and coach to figure out something new. With hard work and dedication, the team has now started to rebuild and with that, the spirit of rugby lives on our team. As we rebuild our foundation, we will, of course, face struggles in becoming a whole unit, once again. So we are focusing on fostering talent, promoting equality in sports, and building a robust community of supporters. By offering training facilities, essential equipment, and opportunities for competitive play, we ensure that our athletes can perform at their best. After being inactive for so long, we think that these things are a great opportunity for our project to be dedicated to supporting and advancing women's rugby. With a focus on providing resources and opportunities, we aim to create a positive impact on athletes and the wider community.
