National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a premiere professional organization that empowers Black engineering students. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. So, we created a environment where we foster a supportive community in which all members can thrive, rooted on principles of diversity and inclusion. As a professional society, our students are well aware of the incredible value of building a network. Recognizing that this is a key part of fostering corporate relationships, this is an important tool that we teach as a professional organization. This, coupled with our core values rooted in cultural competency, is something that is capitalized on during the NSBE National Convention, making it an invaluable learning opportunity for our students.
NSBE Annual Convention is the culmination of the year’s work of NSBE chapters from all over the country. It serves as a platform for research and 400-plus career fairs exhibitors, educational workshops, networking opportunities and more! The NSBE 2025 Annual National Convention is anticipated to have 15,000 attendees and will be hosted by Region III on March 05-09, 2025 in Chicago, IL. The objective of our trip is to cultivate skills in professional practice, corporate understanding, and learn more about what employers are looking for. Additionally, we aim to create networking opportunities with recruiters, opening doors to potential offers.
