Our Crowdfunding Groups
The WSU Tennis Club is a student-run sports club that produces opportunities for both beginners and experienced players to play tennis. We have both a recreation and competitive team! Anyone is allowed to join our recreational team and attend practices where we will play games and have a coaching court to help refine your tennis techniques. Members who are interested in playing competitively try out at the beginning of the fall semester and travel often to tournaments to play other schools. We also hold multiple tournaments a year for our rec members, along with a community tournament open to all.
The WSU Tennis Club strives to make tennis more accessible for all Washington State students and faculty with the least expensive dues out of all recreational sport clubs offered at the university. This is to ensure that playing tennis is not seen as a luxury at our school, but instead, as an open opportunity to get involved and grow a love for the sport. That being said, with our low due rates, the club struggles to raise the money we need to provide our members with the fullest of opportunities.
Your donation would go toward buying new balls, holding local recreational tennis events, providing scholarships for students who cannot afford our tennis dues, expenses for competitive tournaments, and more. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated and would help us reach students who have a love for the sport but cannot afford to play, while also allowing us to hold events to serve our existing members.
