Connecting the Classroom to the Real World

The WSU MIS Club is on a mission to help students connect what we learn in class to real experiences.

This year, we’re raising funds to send members to conferences and case competitions where students can meet professionals, learn from experts, and test their skills alongside other universities. These experiences make a big difference. They show students what a career in MIS really looks like, help us build confidence, and open doors to internships and future jobs. Every dollar raised goes directly toward travel, lodging, and registration costs so that everyone has the chance to take part, not just those who can afford it. When you support our project, you’re helping us apply what we learn in real settings and bring those lessons back to share with others on campus.
