Unleash the Cougs 5K Fun Run hosted by Kappa Psi
Kappa Psi is a pharmaceutical fraternity dedicated to serving the community through leadership and service. This organization is built on the foundation of fellowship, industry, sobriety, and high ideals. The Beta Pi chapter at WSU Spokane focuses on philanthropic service, leadership, and community. Our organization is highly recognized for the work we do around the Spokane community such as initiating donation drives (books, back-to-school supplies, winter coats, etc.), volunteering at elementary schools to teach about health, and fundraising initiatives.
This spring, Kappa Psi is hosting the second annual Unleash the Cougs 5K Fun Run! Last April 2025, Kappa Psi hosted our first ever 5K run with 150+ participants. Unleash the Cougs was a great way to bring the WSU and Spokane community together, thus further developing Kappa Psi's mission to serve our community. With the help from our sponsors, we were able to host a successful event. However, we're hoping to increase the scale of our event this year to help support even more participants! Your donations will go towards production of the race such as t-shirts, medals, water station gear, finish line arch/signage, and so much more. We hope to host an event as grand as our Spokane community!
Any additional funds we raise will go towards the rest of our spring events such as Grad Ritual. This event serves to recognize our graduating brothers as well as celebrate all of our chapter's achievements throughout the year!
