Support the Future of Advanced Rocketry at WSU-TC

We are a dedicated team of engineering students at WSU-TC, pushing the boundaries of hands-on learning through advanced rocketry. Our goal is to design, build, and launch high-powered rockets with cutting-edge control systems, ensuring precision in takeoff, flight, and landing. But we’re not stopping there—this project is more than just exploration.

We are also working toward Level One High-Power Rocketry (HPR) Certification through the National Association of Rocketry (NAR), a crucial step in developing expertise in high-powered rocketry. This certification not only demonstrates our skill but also opens doors to future aerospace innovations and careers. The International Rocket Engineering Competition

Our Ultimate Goal: The 2026-2027 The International Rocket Engineering Competition

Beyond certification, our ultimate goal is to become experts in rocketry and participate in the The International Rocket Engineering Competition. This prestigious competition brings together university teams from around the world to propose, design, and build high-powered rockets capable of achieving complex mission objectives.

Why We Need Your Support

Rocketry is a challenging and rewarding field that allows us to apply real engineering principles, collaborate as a team, and think critically about flight dynamics and aerodynamics. However, building and launching these rockets requires resources—high-quality materials, advanced electronic systems, testing equipment, and launch fees—and that’s where you come in.

Your Contribution Will Directly Support:

  • Rocket Components – Air frames, motors, recovery systems, and payload integration
  • Advanced Control and Recovery Systems – Parachutes, altimeters, tracking.
  • Certification Costs – NAR Level One HPR certification fees for team members
  • Testing and Safety Equipment – Launch pads, igniters, and protective gear.
  • Launch Fees and Travel Expenses – Registration for competitions, site access fees, and transportation to launch events
  • Research and Development – Simulation software, aerodynamic testing, and materials for prototype builds
  • International Rocket Engineering Competition – Proposal development, prototype testing, and compliance with the International Rocket Engineering Competition rigorous design and safety standards
  • Unexpected Costs – Hardware failures, component replacements, and unforeseen engineering challenges, and other possible costs.

Help Us Reach New Heights

This project is about more than just launching a rocket—it’s about launching our future in aerospace and engineering. With your support, we can bring this vision to life, push the limits of student innovation, and proudly represent WSU-TC in advanced rocketry competitions.

MAKERS CLUB thanks you for making an impact on our team by contributing to the project. Your support makes this possible and brings us one step closer to reaching new heights.
