CougSat-II
CougSat-II
CougSat-II is scaling up to a 36 x 36 x 76 cm satellite size. Within this new system we are working on the design and implementation of a robotic arm payload as well as deployable solar panels. This arm will begin to help us understand the impact and challenges of in space robotics especially as to how it can help with in-space repair. This project is multi disciplinary across majors applying knowledge from classes and building further understandings through collaboration in teamwork.
Our teams include;
Computing Systems - Satellite Avionics, Real Time Systems, Simulations, & Microcontrollers
Elecrtical Systems - PCB Design, PCB Assembly, Systems Integration, & Soldering
Structures - CAD Design, Manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping, & Physics Based Engineering
