NCWA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS TRAVEL FUNDS FOR QUALIFIED WSU VARSITY MEN & WOMEN WRESTLERS

WSU Varsity Men & Women’s Wrestling Club is seeking essential funding to ensure that every man and woman Cougar wrestler that qualifies for NCWA National Championships in Louisiana is able to travel and compete. We are an inclusive men and women’s wrestling program, supporting over 70 +student-athletes (50 men and 25 women), with one of the fastest growing women’s wrestling program!  Our women’s team took 4^th place last year at NCWA National Championships out of 52 teams (4 points from 1^st Place) and our men’s team took 5th out of 86 teams.  

Our mission is to ensure that no qualified wrestler is denied the opportunity to compete at the highest level due to financial barriers.  Our wrestlers have trained hard all season to earn a spot to compete on the biggest stage at NCWA National Championships.  WSU Wrestling is also driven to defend their 2x College Cup Championship and 2x Women’s Academic Team Championship while pursuing new National Championship titles.  We anticipate over 30 qualified wrestlers (15+ men and 15+ women).  Your support ensures that every Cougar who qualifies is able to represent WSU.   Donations of any size will directly fund a Cougar wrestler’s ability to fulfill their dream to travel,  compete and represent WSU proudly at NCWA National Championships!
