NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) prides ourselves on being a premier professional organization. As a professional society, our students are well aware of the incredible value of building a network. Recognizing that this is a key part of fostering corporate relationship, this is an important tool that we teach as a professional organization. This, coupled with our core values rooted in cultural competency, is something that is capitalized on during the NSBE National Convention, making it an invaluable learning opportunity for our students.
The 2020 NSBE National Convention will be from March 25th - 29th, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. This is the culmination of the year’s work of NSBE chapters from all over the country. It will serve as a platform for the Annual NSBE TORCH awards, research and career fairs, educational workshops, networking opportunities and more!
Because attending conference builds so many skills, it is of utmost importance that we position our chapter to take as many students as possible to national convention. From this opportunity, our students hope to gain access to skills in professional practice, corporate understanding and internships, along with expanding WSU's presence in the professional sphere.
