WSU Men & Women’s Wrestling Club is seeking funding to ensure that every Cougar wrestler that qualifies for NCWA National Championships can travel and compete WSU Wrestling WSU Varsity Men & Women’s Wrestling Club is seeking essential funding to ensure that every man and woman Cougar wrestler that qualifies for NCWA National Championships in Louisiana is able to travel and compete. We are an inclusive men and women’s wrestling program, supporting over 70 +student-athletes (50 men and 25 women), with one of the fastest growing women’s wrestling program! Our women’s team took 4th place last year at NCWA National Championships out of 52 teams (4 points from 1st Place) and our men’s team took 5th out of 86 teams. Our mission is to ensure that no qualified wrestler is denied the opportunity to compete at the highest level due to financial barriers. Our wrestlers have trained hard all season to earn a spot to compete on the biggest stage at NCWA National Championships. WSU Wrestling is also driven to defend their 2x College Cup Championship and 2x Women’s Academic Team Championship while pursuing new National Championship titles. We anticipate over 30 qualified wrestlers (15+ men and 15+ women). Your support ensures that every Cougar who qualifies is able to represent WSU. Donations of any size will directly fund a Cougar wrestler’s ability to fulfill their dream to travel, compete and represent WSU proudly at NCWA National Championships!

Support students to go to The 2026 ACVIM Forum, a conference where students can explore the latest research in veterinary internal & specialty medicine. WSU ACVIM Student Chapter WHO: The WSU CVM Internal Medicine Club (ACVIM) supports veterinary students interested in small and large animal specialty medicine. Our goals are to not only foster an appreciation for specialty medicine, but also establish critical skills needed even as a general practitioner. We learn how to analyze and read research papers through our monthly journal clubs. Additionally, our lecturers provide interactive, case-based presentations that encourage students to think like clinicians by developing differentials, diagnostics, and treatment plans. WHAT: ACVIM is the world’s largest veterinary specialty organization that holds an ACVIM Forum annually, where veterinary professionals of all sectors come together to learn about the newest developments in specialty medicine. At this event, students can attend lectures from 13 specialty veterinary groups and network with board-certified veterinarians and industry partners from all over the country. WHEN: June 11-13th, 2026 WHERE: This year, the conference is held in Seattle, which is the perfect opportunity for WSU students to attend! WHY: The ACVIM Forum isn't just a conference where students attend lectures-- it's a place where future veterinarians begin building a professional community and forming relationships they will rely on throughout their careers. Students from across the nation come together to share ideas, discuss career goals, and learn directly from leaders in specialty medicine. The Forum also provides hands-on opportunities to develop critical clinical skills through workshops, labs, and team-based discussions. Here are just a few examples of sessions students can participate in: Coaching teams through adverse medical events Tracheal and urethral stenting techniques Collaborative approaches to antimicrobial resistance Cardiac monitoring in equine athletes COST: Due to the long travel time and multi-day event, we will need support to provide registration, housing, and travel expenses.
