Empowering Future STEM Leaders and Innovators

The STEM Leaders and Innovators Association (SLIA) is a registered student organization at Washington State University dedicated to empowering students to explore, lead, and innovate within STEM fields. Our mission is to create inclusive, supportive spaces where students can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and engage in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

Funds raised through CougStarter will directly support student-centered workshops, networking events, and interactive activities designed to help students prepare for their competitive futures in STEM. These experiences focus on professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure WSU students gain skills while building a strong sense of community.

Your support allows SLIA to grow and improve the events we already offer. A perfect example of this is our event, STEM Futures, where students hear from speakers across science, technology, engineering, and math about their career journeys. By donating, you help make these experiences more accessible to students across campus.
