Kids' Science and Engineering Day 2027
Description
Kids’ Science & Engineering Day (KSED) is an annual WSU Society of Women Engineers event that gives elementary students the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on activities.
Each year, approximately 300 K–5 students and their families come to WSU’s Pullman campus to learn, experiment, build, and explore. WSU student organizations lead interactive activities, giving children the chance to experience STEM in ways they may not get to in the classroom.
KSED also gives WSU students the opportunity to share their passion for STEM with the local community. With around 30 student organizations participating, hundreds of WSU students volunteer their time to create and lead activities for local children.
Donations will help us purchase activity supplies, t-shirts, goodie bags, decorations, and other materials needed to make KSED a fun, accessible, and memorable experience for everyone who attends. By supporting KSED, you are helping inspire the next generation of STEM students while connecting WSU with the Palouse community.
