WSU Tri-Cities IEEE Student Innovation Fund

The WSU Tri-Cities IEEE club is a student-led chapter that works closely with the IEEE Richland section and belongs to the wider IEEE network. We connect students in electrical engineering, computer science, and other STEM fields with working engineers in the Tri-Cities. Our student leaders run events and workshops where members meet professionals, look into job opportunities, build their networks, and get hands-on experience outside the classroom.

At last year's IEEE Rising Stars Conference, our members attended a technical workshop and learned a lot. We then used that knowledge to host similar workshops on campus for students who couldn’t attend.

Our goal this year is $2,000. Your gift will help pay for:

• Travel, transportation, food, and hospitality for events like the IEEE Rising Stars Conference, job fairs, technology symposiums, company tours, and meetings with industry leaders
• Speakers and career specialists who connect students with internships and jobs
• Materials for workshops we run with other STEAM clubs, where students work on projects they care about and learn skills and tools that classes and labs usually don’t cover

Many students can’t afford these trips and events on their own. Your gift also supports the Tri-Cities area by helping students build careers here.

Every gift counts, even $5. Thank you for supporting our students, and Go Cougs!
