The Indian Student Association (ISA) at Washington State University is excited to present India Night 2026: Ticket to India, our annual flagship cultural celebration that brings together students, faculty, families, and community members to experience the beauty and diversity of Indian culture.

This year’s theme, “Ticket to India,” invites attendees on a symbolic train journey across India, celebrating the unique traditions, heritage, and cultural identities that make the country extraordinary.

Through this journey, we aim to create an unforgettable experience that brings people together, encourages cultural appreciation, and celebrates the spirit of community.

India Night is more than just an event. It’s a celebration of culture, connection, and belonging.

This year’s celebration will feature:

 A Journey Through India’s States: Our planned state-themed tables will introduce attendees to the traditions, heritage, and cultural identities of different Indian states, bringing the spirit of a cross-country train journey to life.

 Cultural Performances: Enjoy an exciting lineup of dance performances celebrating Indian culture through music, movement, and artistic expression.

 Authentic Indian Cuisine: Experience a delicious three-course Indian meal showcasing the rich flavors and culinary traditions of India.

 Interactive Cultural Activities: Explore engaging activity stations, including henna and other experiences being planned, offering opportunities to experience aspects of Indian culture firsthand.

Together, these experiences will bring the sights, sounds, flavors, and traditions of India to the heart of Washington State University.

❤️ Why We Need Your Support

Behind every successful India Night are months of planning, dedication, and financial commitment from our student organization.

As ISA’s flagship annual event, India Night requires significant resources to provide a memorable cultural experience for the WSU community.

One of our biggest financial challenges is the cost of catering and providing a three-course Indian meal. Food expenses account for a substantial portion of our available funding, leaving limited resources for cultural activities, event arrangements, and other essential expenses.

Although India Night is a ticketed event, ticket sales help offset the costs of organizing this celebration. However, additional financial support is needed to help us deliver the experience we envision.

Through this CougStarter campaign, we hope to raise funds to support essential event expenses and reduce the financial burden on our student organization.

Your support will help us create a meaningful cultural experience while working toward keeping India Night accessible to the WSU community.
