Description

Send our hospitality students to the most exciting and established companies in the PNW.

Founded in 1939, Sigma Iota serves as the umbrella student organization for the School of Hospitality Business Management within the Carson College of Business. For over eight decades, we have provided students with opportunities to host events, refine their professional skills, and build lasting connections with industry leaders and peers. Our primary goal is to help members see firsthand how their classroom education translates into real-world success.

Last year we had great success with CougsGive, and we are now able to send our members to SommCon this November. A 3-day educational conference that will consist of workshops, master classes, and networking within the wine and beverage industry.

This year, we have aspirations to taking an industry tour across Washington to visit unique and established hospitality businesses. This hands-on experience will give our members a behind-the-scenes look at operations across different career paths while allowing them to network directly with industry professionals.

Your contribution directly provides our students with this transformative opportunity. Every gift serves as a launchpad, helping our members build the foundation for their future careers as successful, influential, and active leaders in the hospitality industry.
